Abstract: A magnetic toy construction block includes an inner shell and an outer shell which are arranged to form a module having a shell-within-a-shell construction. Disc-shaped magnets are rotatably received and maintained in pockets formed in the inner shell of the module. The inner shell is permanently housed within the outer shell such that the magnets lie in close proximity to its sidewalls and hence sidewalls of the module itself.

Abstract: A centralizer assembly installed on a casing section. A bow spring assembly having bow spring members is installed around the outer surface of the casing section and can rotate about the outer surface of the casing section. At least one portion of the casing section is swaged to increase the outer diameter of that section. Bow spring heel supports prevent bow spring members from contacting the outer surface of the central casing section when compressed. Non-abrasive materials prevent damage to wellhead or other polished bore receptacles.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method for distributing information across failure domains in servers may include (1) dividing, at a computing device, each of a quantity of “K” failure domains (FDs) in a plurality of FDs into a quantity of “P” portions, where the “K” FDs in the plurality of FDs are constituent parts of respective servers in a plurality of servers, “P” is less than “K,” and “P” is a sum of a quantity of “M” data portions and a quantity of “N” parity portions, (2) creating a quantity of “K” erasure-coded volumes in the “K” FDs, where each erasure-coded volume includes “M” data portions and “N” parity portions, and each portion in each erasure-coded volume is stored in a different FD and (3) combining the “K” volumes to create a file system. Abstract: A remote observation or surveillance device for simultaneous 360 degree imaging comprising a housing defining an internal chamber wherein each side wall includes a viewing window, a means for mounting having a slot, configuration of slots, track or combination thereof, a plurality of camera mounting brackets slidably and/or adjustably affixed to the mounting means through the slot or track, each bracket being adjustably affixed to a camera, wherein the cameras are configured to provide simultaneous 360 degree live or recorded imaging. The cameras can be configured to provide any combination of viewing angles and degrees of magnification or zoom. The device may also comprise a processor or server in operable communication with the cameras, which is configured to control the cameras and/or store and archive video, imaging, and/or audio data.

Abstract: An implantable blood pump system is disclosed herein. The implantable blood pump system includes an implantable blood pump and a controller coupled to the blood pump. The controller includes a partially sealed housing defining an internal volume. The controller includes an energy storage component contained within the internal volume and a processor. The processor can generate one or several signals affecting operation of the implantable blood pump. The controller includes a connector receptacle including a plurality of contacts selectively coupled via a circuitry to the energy storage component. The circuitry can electrically couple the plurality of contacts to the energy storage component when a connector insert is received within the connector receptacle and deactivate the plurality of contacts from the energy storage component when the connector insert is not within the connector receptacle.

In example embodiments, the drop-off administration module is configured to confirm in dependence upon the digital ticket that the material delivered by the hauling vehicle arrived at the drop-off site.

Abstract: A hybrid-fabric apparatus comprises a black box memory configured to store a plurality of behavior metrics and an anomaly agent coupled to the black box. The anomaly agent determines a baseline vector corresponding to nominal behavior of the fabric, wherein the baseline vector comprises at least two different behavior metrics that are correlated with each other. The anomaly agent disaggregates anomaly detection criteria into a plurality of anomaly criterion to be distributed among network nodes in the fabric, the anomaly detection criteria characterizing a variation from the baseline vector, and each of the plurality of anomaly criterion comprising a function of a measured vector of behavior metrics. The variation can be calculated based on a variation function applied to a vector of measured behavior metrics having elements corresponding to member elements of the baseline vector.

Abstract: A packaging machine includes a series of stations or assemblies, including a carton feeding system and a product conveyor that receives a series of articles or products at a first, upstream or intake end of the packaging machine. The products generally can be grouped into a series of products, such as for forming six-packs, four-packs or other package configurations, and will be wrapped by or loaded into a series of carton blanks, after which the loaded cartons will be moved through a discharge station. The discharge station meters the loaded cartons or packages for discharge from the packaging machine.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating certified images and incident reports are disclosed. An image capture device can be used to capture an image and integrate metadata from camera sensors as well as other ancillary device sensors into the image. The image and its metadata can then be certified upon a check that the image and its metadata are authentic and unaltered. The image and its metadata can then be included in or as a part of an incident or other report describing an incident or event such as an accident or a crime. The image and/or incident report may be maintained at a cloud-based server for viewing, authorized editing, and subsequent distribution.

Abstract: A radar system may include a wearable device dimensioned to be worn by a user of an artificial reality system. The radar system may also include at least one radar device that is secured to the wearable device and transmits at least one frequency-modulated radar signal to at least one transponder located within a physical environment of the user. The radar system may further include at least one processing device communicatively coupled to the radar device. The processing device may detect a signal returned to the radar device from the transponder in response to the frequency-modulated radar signal and then calculate, based at least in part on a frequency of the returned signal, a distance between the transponder and the radar device. Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating a user of a mobile electronic device to use a FIDO (fast identification online) compliant application in the device are provided. These entail receiving a user authentication input at the mobile electronic device and caching the authentication input. While the authentication input remains cached, the user is authenticated to use the mobile electronic device via the authentication input. The mobile electronic device is then unlocked and the FIDO compliant application is opened. Secure delayed FIDO authentication is then executed by providing the cached authentication input to the FIDO compliant application to open an authenticated session of the user on the FIDO compliant application.

Abstract: What is described herein is a stable and reduced-yellowing/non-yellowing synergistic preservative composition comprising: (i) about 0.1 wt. % to about 40 wt. % of dehydroacetic acid (DHA); and about 0.1 wt. % to about 99.9 wt. % of at least one aprotic solvent. Also described herein are aqueous and non-aqueous based preservative compositions for various end-user applications, and processes for preparing and using such compositions to reduce yellowing of DHA when added to the end-user applications.
