Abstract: A handheld UV-C sanitizing apparatus is provided and includes: (a) an enclosure defining an opening for light exposure and fabricated from quartz that is transparent or plastic; (b) a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to emit UV-C light; (c) a circuit board, wherein each LED is coupled to the circuit board and each LED is removable and replaceable independently; and (d) a power source coupled to the circuit board, wherein the power source configured to deliver power to each LED. The UV-C light emitted from the LEDs is at a wavelength suitable to kill, destroy, or reduce growth of microorganisms and germs in a preset exposure area directly below the UV-C light. The arrangement of the LEDs spaced apart from each other is configured to emit cones of UV-C light emission sufficient to cover the preset exposure area corresponding to a user's hand surface area.

A reduction in distance between the frame and the vertical support and engagement between the first and second connectors prevents tipping of the piece of furniture.

Abstract: A system uses a fleet of AVs to assess visibility of target objects. Each AV has a camera for capturing images of target objects. AVs provide the captured images, or visibility data derived from the captured images, to a remote system, which aggregates visibility data describing images captured across the fleet of AVs. The AVs also provide condition data describing conditions under which the images were captured, and the remote system aggregates the condition data. The remote system processes the aggregated visibility data and condition data to determine conditions under which a target object does not meet a visibility threshold.

Abstract: A wild game call includes a bugle tube and a damper. The bugle tube includes a first end with a first aperture, a second end with a second aperture, and a wall extending from the first end to the second end. The wall defines an interior volume, and the first aperture and the second aperture provide access to the interior volume such that a flow path is defined through the bugle tube from the first end, through the second end, and out the second end. The bugle tube includes a metal and is configured to generate sound waves by vibrating responsive to air flowing along the flow path. The damper surrounds the outer surface of the wall of the bugle tube between the first end and the second end and may reduce unwanted ringing while improving the sound of the bugle call.

Abstract: An improved showerhead assembly is provided for facilitating the application of soap or shampoo upon a bather. The showerhead assembly is preferably handheld and includes an elongate handle, and a showerhead including a face having one or more nozzles for spraying water. In addition, the showerhead assembly includes a detachable reservoir for storing soap or shampoo. Preferably, the reservoir is detachable from the showerhead by a threaded coupling in which the reservoir includes male threads which can be capped. Preferably, the showerhead assembly includes a controller for allowing one to selectively dispense shampoo or soap from within the reservoir into the stream of water which is ejected from the showerhead nozzles.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. An apparatus for video decoding includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry checks an inferable condition for a flag of a specific prediction mode for a current block before parsing the flag of the specific prediction mode for the current block from a coded video bitstream. The specific prediction mode is one of a plurality of inter picture prediction modes. When the inferable condition indicates that the flag is inferable, the processing circuitry infers the flag without parsing the flag from the coded video bitstream. When the inferable condition indicates uncertainty for inferring the flag, the processing circuitry parses the flag from the coded video bitstream. Then, the processing circuitry reconstructs the current block according to the specific prediction mode when the flag is indicative of an application of the specific prediction mode on the current block.

Abstract: A pocket spring unit comprising a plurality of pocket springs each comprising a coil spring and a pocket. Each of the pockets comprise top portion and bottom portions. Each of the pockets are formed from a continuous top piece of fabric attached to a continuous bottom piece of fabric to form a bond having a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of each coil spring. The pocket spring unit further comprises an attachment layer comprising a top portion comprising an inner and outer surface. The pocket spring unit further comprises a plurality of first cushion elements engaged with the outer surface of the top portion of the attachment layer. The inner surface of the top portion of the attachment element is engaged with the top portion of the pockets of the pocket springs such that each of the first cushion elements act only upon one of the pocket springs.

Abstract: An auto cleaning toilet seat assembly with a cover coupled to a toilet seat and defining a fluid transport conduit surrounding the toilet seat. The cover also includes an air deflector formed as part of the upper wall and at the front end of the cover, wherein the air deflector includes two opposing surfaces converging together away from the inner surface of the outer sidewall. The assembly is operably to emit a liquid on a rear portion of a toilet seat and induce a gas to transport that liquid from the rear of the toilet seat to the front of the toilet, whereby the air deflector directs the liquid and air through the fluid transport conduit and into a toilet bowl utilizing the two opposing surfaces of the air deflector.

The endoscope can further include a locking mechanism that prevents angular movement of the displaceable distal region when the locking mechanism is engaged.

An interface management component can identify first and second candidate interfaces, and respective resource utilization values. The interface management component can select, based on the resource utilization values, the first candidate interface to present the content item. The interface management component can provide the first action data structure to the client computing device for rendering as audio output, and can transmit the content item converted for a first modality to deliver the content item for rendering from the selected interface.
