Abstract: An electronic device includes: an interface circuit; and a first instance of an antenna having a radiator and multiple sets of reflectors and directors arranged along different axes passing through the radiator in a horizontal plane. A given set of reflectors and directors includes a given reflector and a given director on opposite sides of the radiator and along a given axis. During operation, the interface circuit provides control signals to switching elements that selectively electrically couple the one or more of the reflectors, one or more of the directors, or both to ground, where the one or more of the reflectors, one or more of the directors, or both modify an antenna radiation pattern of the radiator. Then, the interface circuit communicates, via the first instance of the antenna, a packet or a frame with a second electronic device.

Abstract: Methods are provided for joint performance validation and include preparing a coupon from a blank by bending the blank to have a pair of legs disposed at substantially ninety degrees relative to each other. Another coupon is prepared by forming an opening in a segment of another blank and bending the segment approximately ninety degrees. The segment is disposed adjacent an end of the second blank. A test sample is prepared by joining the coupons together at a joint with a leg attached to the segment approximately at a center of the leg. The test sample is subjected to a force test to generate data for the performance validation.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for implementations of motion paths via pure CSS3 and HTML5, working in all major browsers and requiring no JavaScript. For each motion path degree of freedom (e.g., x translation), the system may insert an additional element into the document object model (DOM) to host its animation. In some implementations, the system may apply an optimization process to fit CSS3 keyframes rules that approximate the ideal motion path trajectory to a predetermined tolerance while minimizing the storage footprint. In addition to supporting CSS3 motion paths, this authoring model retains the ability to supply arbitrary standard CSS3 animations to transform channels, which allows users to, e.g., animate the scale and rotation of an element independent of its progress along a motion path.

Abstract: An electronic circuit includes a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) circuit, a sub-harmonic reduction circuit, and a voltage feedback circuit. The PWM circuit produces a PWM signal according to a voltage control signal, a current of the electronic circuit, and a maximum duty cycle. When the electronic circuit is operating in a peak current limit mode, the sub-harmonic reduction circuit generates a feedback adjustment signal according to whether the current of the electronic circuit exceeds a peak current limit, whether a duty cycle of the PWM signal is greater than or equal to the maximum duty cycle, whether the voltage control signal is controlling the duty cycle of the PWM signal, or combinations thereof. The voltage feedback circuit generates the voltage control signal according to an output voltage produced using the PWM signal, a value of a reference voltage, and a value of the feedback adjustment signal.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for inserting payment information into payment forms without user interaction. A system can identify that a user has navigated to a web page operated by a merchant computer system for a merchant and identify a payment form within the web page. The system can then execute a payment request API which generates a query for saved payment credentials for the user from the merchant computer system. When the merchant computer system indicates it does not have the saved payment credentials for the user, the system can identify browser-saved payment credentials stored in the Internet browser, then generate a virtual payment information associated with the browser-saved payment credentials. The virtual payment information can then be inserted into corresponding fields of the payment form without the user entering any additional information.
