Abstract: A hood air intake and water separation system includes a first separation chamber having a first inlet fluidly coupled to a hood intake vent of the vehicle, a first outlet, and at least one first drain opening. The first separation chamber is configured to separate water and air ingested through the intake and direct the separated water through the at least one first drain opening and direct the separated air through the first outlet. A second separation chamber includes a second inlet fluidly coupled to the first separation chamber first outlet, a second outlet, and at least one second drain opening. A third chamber includes a third inlet fluidly coupled to the second separation chamber second outlet, and a third outlet. The first and second separation chambers are configured to direct ingested water away from an airpath to the engine.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel and inventive quilted stretchable fabric (QSF) provided by the combination of specific elements as described herein, which provides a structurally stable yet stretchable quilted fabric. In particular, the present invention is directed to a quilted stretchable fabric (QSF) comprising a layered combination of stretchy fabric material and stretch-resistant fabric material, and the methods of preparation thereof, which remains securely associated by stitching even when subject to the repeated strain and forces of use, e.g., stretching, pulling, and the like. Further, articles of manufacture comprising this novel and inventive fabric are also provided herein.

Abstract: A machine for removing debris from pine straw is described. The machine comprises a conveyor system, a doffer, a debris-pine straw separation zone, and a clean pine straw zone. The conveyor system and doffer thin, spread and fluff the pine straw, as well as control the flow of pine straw to the separation zone. A system of air is directed through the separation zone and engages pine straw and debris discharged into the separation zone and effectively separates the debris from the pine straw, after which the pine straw is directed from the separation zone to the clean pine straw zone.

Abstract: A server based system and method for hosting an incentive creation, administration, distribution, management, and analytics system. The server may allow a client via a client management portal to create and manage a campaign that may include a variety of dynamic rewards geared specifically to specific consumer groups. In these embodiments, users may be presented with the dynamic rewards via a presentation device which may be a user device or a client device. The presentation device may include a facilitator application for presenting the offer to the user. The dynamic rewards may have terms that change over time based on factors such as end user input, environmental factors, sharing of the reward, trading the reward, expiration date extensions, etc.

Abstract: A sterilization system consisting of a mobile emitter, a sensing subsystem and a data logging subsystem is described. The emitter has one or more UV emitting lamps or devices. The sensing system comprises at least one remote UV sensor and at least one door sensor. The door sensor comprises a safety shut off door detector and may contain an emergency stop detector and arming detector to protect people from being exposed to UV energy. The system has a remote control for starting, stopping and setting system parameters which include but are not limited to: treatment time, dosage, room size, room number, unit number, floor, facility name, operator name, operator identification number, password, default dosage values, dosage, and patient identification number. The number of treatments per unit of time can be maximized because of the use of incident light measurement.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for determining the similarity between a first data set and a second data set is provided. The method includes performing an entropy analysis on the first and second data sets to produce a first entropy result, wherein the first data set comprises data representative of a first one or more computer files of known content and the second data set comprises data representative of a one or more computer files of unknown content; analyzing the first entropy result; and if the first entropy result is within a predetermined threshold, identifying the second data set as substantially related to the first data set.

Abstract: A memory card socket interconnector is disclosed including a pair of cavities configured to receive a pair of memory cards. The cavities include patterns of memory card interconnect pads. A second surface of the socket interconnector includes socket interconnect pads, distributed across the second surface of the socket interconnector, which are electrically coupled to the memory card interconnect pads. The memory card socket interconnector may further include an anisotropic elastomeric sheet provided between the memory card pads and the memory card interconnect pads in each cavity to enable good electrical contact between the memory card pads and the memory card interconnect pads.

Abstract: In one implementation, an accessory mount system for a watersport tow boat includes a boat mount that is configured to be attached to a boat mounting surface that is adjacent to or part of a swim platform that extends from a rear of the watersport tow boat. The accessory mount system can further include an accessory arm that includes a first end and a second end, where the first end is configured to be fixedly attached to the accessory arm mounting surface of the boat mount and the second end is configured to be positioned above a top surface of the swim platform when the accessory arm is attached to the watersport tow boat via the boat mount. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving one or more characters entered into a first query field by a user; determining a predicted search query based on the one or more received characters; determining a plurality of suggested search queries based on the one or more received characters; causing the predicted search query to be presented in the first query field and at least a portion of the plurality of suggested search query to be presented in a second query field, wherein the predicted search query is combined with the one or more received characters in the first query field; searching a database of videos based on the predicted search query; causing a plurality of video content items from the database of videos responsive to the predicted search query to be presented; and causing, without user interaction, a first video content item from the plurality of video content items to be played back.

Abstract: A bidirectional media communication channel testing platform includes an HDMI testing device including a video input port and an audio output port; a plurality of media streaming devices, each including a video transmission channel and an audio return channel; and a bidirectional switch including a video path and an audio path. The video path is configured to selectively couple the video input port of the HDMI testing device to a video transmission channel of a selected one of the plurality of media streaming devices, and the audio path is configured to concurrently couple the audio output port of the HDMI testing device to the audio return channel of each of the plurality of media streaming devices, regardless of a switching state of the video path of the bidirectional switch.

Abstract: The present invention provides an integrated health care surveillance and monitoring system that provides real-time sampling, modeling, analysis, and recommended interventions. The system can be used to monitor infectious and chronic diseases. When faced with outbreak of an infectious disease agent, e.g., influenza virus, the system can identify active cases through pro-active sampling in high risk locations, such as schools or crowded commercial areas. The system can notify appropriate entities, e.g., local, regional and national governments, when an event is detected, thereby allowing for proactive management of a possible outbreak. The system also predicts the best response for deployment of scarce resources.

Abstract: A device and method for providing a levelable attachment surface for attaching a construction tool at a jobsite is provided. The device includes a receiver portion and a post portion. The receiver portion includes a portion being embeddable in a work surface at the jobsite and a portion for receiving a portion of the post portion. The post portion includes at least one flange portion including the levelable attachment surface. The levelable attachment surface can be leveled to facilitate substantially leveled attachment of the construction tool to the levelable attachment surface.

Abstract: A process for injection molded microcellular foaming various flexible foam compositions from biodegradable and industrially compostable bio-derived thermoplastic resins for use in, for example, footwear components, seating components, protective gear components, and watersport accessories wherein a process of manufacturing includes the steps of: producing a suitable thermoplastic biopolymer or biopolymer blend; injection molding the thermoplastic biopolymer or biopolymer blend into a suitable mold shape with inert nitrogen gas; controlling the polymer melt, pressure, temperature, and time such that a desirable flexible foam is formed; and utilizing gas counterpressure in the injection molding process to ensure the optimal foam structure with the least amount of cosmetic defects and little to no plastic skin on the outside of the foamed structure.
