Abstract: The present disclosure relates to topical compositions for the treatment or prophylaxis of burns. The topical compositions comprise water, solvent, thickener, preservative and conditioning agent, and are exposed to gamma radiation. One embodiment of the topical compositions includes water, propanediol, sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP crosspolymer, a combination of phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol and chlorphenesin, polyaminopropyl biguanide (PHMB) and a mineral complex. The present disclosure also relates to the use of the topical compositions with a dressing and the use of the topical compositions and dressings in treatment or prophylaxis of burns.

Abstract: A sleep training clock can be configured to assist in sleep training. The sleep training clock is shaped like a robot having a face, a torso, and two legs; two LEDs disposed in the face and three LEDs disposed in the torso; and a digital clock face disposed in the torso. Additionally, circuitry for performing sleep training is configured to determine whether the electronic device is in a wake state and turn on the two LEDs disposed in the face and turn off the three LEDs disposed in the torso in response, determine whether the electronic device is in a sleep state and turn off the two LEDs disposed in the face and turn on the three LEDs disposed in the torso in response.

Abstract: There is disclosed in one example a malware analysis server, including: a hardware platform including a processor and a memory; a machine learning model; a store of known objects previously classified by the machine learning model; and instructions encoded within the memory to instruct the processor to: receive a test sample; apply the machine learning model to the test sample to provide the test sample with classified features; compute pairwise distances between the test sample and a set of known objects from the store of known objects; select a group of near neighbor samples from the set of known objects; select a group of far neighbor samples from the set of known objects; and generate an explanation for the test sample according to the near neighbor samples and far neighbor samples.

Abstract: The method includes receiving sender media that was recorded by a sender device associated with a sender. The method further comprises playing, by a recipient device, the sender media for a recipient. The method further comprises detecting that the recipient is speaking. The method further comprises recording recipient media based on detecting that the recipient is speaking. The method further comprises determining a location in the sender media at which the recipient media is to be included. The method further comprises generating combined media that includes at least a portion of the sender media and the recipient media at the location.

Abstract: A method for processing a cryptographic operation request includes receiving, at a hardware security module (HSM), the cryptographic operation request including a cryptographic key and at least one authorization token, determining, by the HSM, whether an access control list (ACL) associated with the cryptographic key of the cryptographic operation request is authorized to govern access to the cryptographic key, and validating, by the HSM, the at least one authorization token. When the at least one authorization token is valid and the ACL is authorized to govern access to the cryptographic key of the cryptographic operation request, the method includes processing, by the HSM, the cryptographic operation request.

Abstract: A network device is provided. The network device includes one or more memories and one or more processors coupled to the one or more memories. The one or more processors are configured to one or more of receive the DL MU PPDU, decode a data frame from the DL MU PPDU, determine whether an acknowledgement (ACK) policy indicated in the MAC header signals a trigger-based immediate acknowledgement policy, and determine whether a trigger indication for an uplink (UL) MU transmission has been obtained from a payload of a data frame. In response to the processor determines that the ACK policy indication signals the trigger-based immediate acknowledgement policy and determines that the trigger indication has been obtained, the processor is configured to transmit a trigger-based immediate acknowledgement frame to the AP in an UL MU PPDU, based on the trigger indication.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing data. During operation, the system identifies content shared within an online system and interactions between users of the online system and the content that match behavioral criteria and content-based criteria in a set of rules. Next, the system aggregates the content and the interactions into trends in the content and the interactions, predictions associated with the content and the interactions, and recommendations for moderating the content and the interactions. The system then outputs representations of the trends, the predictions, and the recommendations in a user interface. Finally, the system receives, via the user interface, an action to be performed on a subset of the content and updates sharing of the content within the online system based on the action.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are described which can safely reduce a laboratory fume hood's minimum airflow and energy consumption when it is determined that the fume hood is not in active use, based on a condition monitoring approach. The condition monitoring approach may incorporate a combination of setback criteria to reliably determine if the fume hood is or is not in use. When a determination has been made that a fume hood is not in use, energy reduction is achieved via automatic methods of hood minimum airflow setback. Fume hood minimum flow reductions are automatically disabled when it is determined that the hood is in active use.

Abstract: A drilling machine includes a pipe life monitoring system. The drilling machine includes a drill string with at least a rotary drill head assembly and a pipe segment. A sensor is configured to monitor and transmit sensor data, including at least one of a pressure and a torque. A controller, including a processor and being operatively associated with the sensor, is configured to calculate a weight of the pipe segment using the sensor data.

The method further includes determining, by the analysis system, at least one evaluation perspective and at least one evaluation viewpoint for use in performing the issue recovery plan evaluation on the system aspect. The method further includes obtaining, by the analysis system, issue recovery plan data regarding the system aspect in accordance with the at least one evaluation perspective and the at least one evaluation viewpoint. The method further includes calculating, by the analysis system, an issue recovery plan rating as a measure of system issue recovery plan maturity for the system aspect based on the issue recovery plan data, the at least one evaluation perspective, the at least one evaluation viewpoint, and at least one evaluation rating metric.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a laser assisted surgical resection alignment guide for performing joint resection surgery. The present invention includes a base plate containing a switch which activates orthogonal laser assemblies when the laser assisted surgical resection alignment guide is inserted into a surgical block. The orthogonal laser assemblies each project beams which are each refracted by lenses to project two laser lines onto a human who has been prepared for surgery.

Abstract: A portable child safety restraint system is provided. The portable child safety restraint system includes a child safety seating system and a backpack. The child safety seating system includes a seat bottom that is connected to a seat back such that the seat bottom is rotatable from an open position to a closed position. The child safety seating system is entirely removable from the backpack or permanently secured to or within at least one enclosure of the backpack. A method of securing a child in a portable child safety restraint system is also provided.

Abstract: Medical implant systems and methods of use thereof, and, more particularly, bone fixating plating systems and methods of use thereof. The medical implant system includes a plurality of fasteners, a receiving member body having a plurality of openings (capable of receiving one of the plurality of fasteners), and a plurality of locking mechanisms rotatably connected to the receiving member body. Each opening has at least one locking mechanism located nearby. Each locking mechanism can be rotated with an instrument between an open position and a closed position relative to the opening nearby the locking mechanism. Stops prevent over-rotation of the locking mechanism past the open position and the closed position. Each fastener can be rotated with the instrument to secure the fasteners into bone. When the locking mechanism is in the open position, the fastener can be passed through the opening and the instrument can be coupled to the fastener to rotate the fastener.

In one embodiment, the assembly comprises an adjustable zero-moment support configured together with an off-axis adjustment. Abstract: A three-dimensional object may be manufactured using a powder bed fusion additive manufacturing technique. A layer of powder feed material may be distributed over a solid substrate and scanned with a high-energy laser beam to locally melt selective regions of the layer and form a pool of molten feed material. The pool of molten feed material may be exposed to gaseous nitrogen, carbon, or boron to respectively dissolve nitride, carbide, or boride ions into the pool of molten feed material to produce a molten nitrogen, carbon, or boron-containing solution. The molten nitrogen, carbon, or boron-containing solution may cool and solidify into a solid layer of fused nitride, carbide, or boride-containing material.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for transacting at a local financial service provider device using a mobile device. The system may include one or more processors configured to execute instructions to receive transaction data associated with a transaction request including a customer identifier received from a mobile device associated with the customer. Additionally, the processors may receive authentication data associated with the customer that may be provided by the customer operating the mobile device and without requiring the customer to input data directly at the local financial service provider device.
