An example flashlight mount comprises a base configured to be removably coupled to a handguard of a firearm; and an extension that includes an accessory interface configured to provide multiple lateral mounting positions for a flashlight. The accessory interface comprises two parallel rows of overlapping holes. Each of the two parallel rows of overlapping holes includes at least two overlapping holes aligned linearly with each other, each of the overlapping holes includes a tapered inlet.

Abstract: A vapor-generating system includes a cartridge, a vapor-generating device and a piercing element. The cartridge includes a cartridge housing configured to hold a solid vapor-forming substrate within the cartridge housing interior, a liquid storage housing configured to hold a liquid vapor-forming substrate within the liquid storage housing interior, and a frangible seal on the liquid storage housing. The vapor-generating device includes a device housing at least partially defining a cavity, an electric heater, and a power supply. The piercing element is configured to pierce the frangible seal of the cartridge to expose the liquid storage housing interior to be in fluid communication with the electric heater based on the vapor-generating device coupling with the cartridge such that the device housing at least partially receives the cartridge into the cavity. The electric heater is located externally from the piercing element.

Abstract: A processing system comprises a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive a polarimetric image from a polarimetric camera sensor, and to identify a road surface in the received image based on a vehicle location, an orientation of the camera sensor, and a vehicle pose. The memory stores instructions, upon identifying, in the polarimetric image, polarized light reflections from the identified road surface based on a polarization direction and a polarization degree determined from the polarimetric image, to remove the identified polarized light reflections from the polarimetric image, thereby generating an updated polarimetric image including generating a de-mosaicked imaged based on the identified polarized light reflections, wherein the identified polarized light reflections are ignored at de-mosaicking, and to identify a road feature including a lane marking based on the updated polarimetric image.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the disclosure, a method of video decoding performed in a video decoder is provided. In the method, syntax information of a coding unit (CU) is decoded from a coded video bitstream. The syntax information is signaled in a picture header (PH) and includes chroma quantization parameter (QP) offsets in a PH level. The chroma QP offsets include at least one of a Cb offset, a Cr offset, and a CbCr offset. Further, quantization parameters for the CU are determined based on the chroma QP offsets in the PH level and a quantization parameter range offset of the CU.

Abstract: A nanofiber nonwoven product is disclosed which comprises a polyamide with a relative viscosity from 2 to 330, spun into nanofibers with an average diameter of less than 1000 nanometers (1 micron). In general, the inventive products are prepared by: (a) providing a polyamide composition, wherein the polyamide has a relative viscosity from 2 to 330; (b) melt spinning the polyamide composition into a plurality of nanofibers having an average fiber diameter of less than 1 micron, followed by (c) forming the nanofibers into the product.

Abstract: A flushing system in a drill bit is disclosed. The drill bit includes a body that defines the flushing system. The flushing system includes an inlet to facilitate supply of pressurized fluids into the bore hole. A cutting surface of the drill bit is provided with a main opening that defines a main passageway in communication with the inlet. A peripheral surface of the drill bit is provided with a secondary opening that defines a secondary passageway in communication with the inlet. The secondary passageway is disposed at an angle from a horizontal reference plane. The horizontal reference plane is defined between the inlet and the origin of the main passageway and is perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis of the body of the drill bit. An origin of the secondary passageway is at a distance from the origin of main passageway.

The methods and apparatus may provide a pair of capacitive sensors formed along at least one plane of a container to create dual sensing fields. The capacitive sensor provides a first electrode affixed to the container and extending from a lower portion of the container to an upper portion of the container, a second electrode affixed to an upper portion of the container, and a third electrode affixed to a lower portion of the container and spaced a predetermined distance apart from the second electrode.

The event-related media management system associates media content with contextual event-related data to associate the media content with the events and information about the events. In some embodiments the event-related media management system generates contextualized media content for contextual search, discovery, and advertising.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for managing waste services. The system may include a waste detector mounted onboard a service vehicle and configured to capture image data of a receptacle encountered by the service vehicle. The system may also include a display, and a controller in communication with the waste detector and the display. The controller may be configured to recognize the receptacle within the image data, and to determine a fill status of the receptacle based on the image data. The controller may also be configured to selectively determine a customer recommendation for a different sized receptacle based on the fill status, and to cause a dispatch to provide the different sized receptacle based on the customer recommendation.

Explicit user actions are used to discover peers who are not colleagues of the user (e.g., peers with whom the user does not share a close organizational relationship, peers with whom the user does not regularly communicate, etc.), but who the user indicates an interest in via his/her actions. These peers are categorized as elevated peers of the user, and information items associated with and trending around the elevated peers are surfaced to the user in a content feed.
