  • Patent number: 11101577
Abstract: An electric connector terminal assembly which allows numerous different terminal connector ends and wire diameters to be connected to a single size and type crimp cylinder using an rolled metal strip insert. Preferably, the metal strip is made of copper, and preferably the copper strip is coated with tin. The metal strip is then formed into a cylinder for insertion to the crimp cylinder. A method for connecting a crimp terminal to an electric wire is also disclosed. The method requires cutting a metal strip to form a plurality of parallel compliant members (e.g., fingers) connected to a base, rolling the cut strip to form a cylindrical insert, positioning the insert within a crimp cylinder of an electric connector with the fingers extending toward the mating end, inserting an electric wire within the cylindrical insert, and crimping the crimp cylinder to secure the electric wire within the cylindrical insert and crimp cylinder.

  • Patent number: 11102534
Abstract: Techniques for efficiently detecting similarity among electronic content items are provided. A vector is generated for each of multiple content items and is used to assign its corresponding content item to a group among multiple groups. A set of content items that is assigned to a particular group of the plurality of groups is identified. For each pair of content items in the set, a similarity score is generated and used to determine whether to classify the pair as similar to each other. Similarity data is updated if to identify the pair if it is determined to classify the pair of content items as similar to each other. The similarity data associates a first content item with a second content item. The second content item is prevented from being presented to a particular user for a period of time after the first content item is presented to the particular user.

  • Patent number: 11102533
Abstract: The present disclosure discusses systems and methods to mitigate traffic spikes in retrieving secondary content items for display in concurrently streamed content streams. The system can pre-fetch secondary content items for the upcoming secondary content slots. To retrieve an appropriate content item, the system can predict the length of the secondary content slot. The system can use the predicted length of the secondary content slot to distribute the traffic spike over a larger span of time to mitigate the spike.

  • Patent number: 11100170
Abstract: A method for a search engine to provide domain-agnostic options for structured exploration based on a query. The method comprises clustering a corpus of historical queries into a plurality of query clusters. The method further comprises identifying a set of variable query terms in each query cluster. Then, a query structure of a new user query is identified, and a specific query cluster matching the query structure of the new user query is selected. Furthermore, the variable query term in the query structure of the new user query is identified. The method further comprises providing a query exploration interface offering user-selectable options for structured exploration of the new user query. Each of the user-selectable option corresponds to a variable query term in the identified set of variable query terms for the specific query cluster identified as matching the query structure of the new user query.

  • Patent number: 11099863
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed herein for positioning application windows based on existing application layout and anticipated user workflows. When an existing application window and a recently launched application window are determined to be related to a workflow, and the default position of the recently launched application window is determined to overlap with the existing application window, the recently launched application window may be displayed in a non-default display region to avoid occlusion. By avoiding occlusion, the foldable device may provide a user-friendly application layout, reducing the number of times a user will move, resize, or switch between application windows in the workflow. This in turn may improve device performance and efficiency while reducing errors attributable to user input. The user-friendly layout may also enable a user to view more content at the same time, increasing productivity, reducing eye strain, facilitating operations such as cut and paste, etc.

  • Patent number: 11097194
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for sharing an AR game within a shared coordinate space created between devices with initially disjoint relative coordinate spaces. Once the shared coordinate space is created, an AR video game can provide a first mode in which the users engage in game play action that have consequences according to pre-established game rules. The AR video game can provide a second mode (“sandbox mode”) in which users engage in non-destructive game play actions that do not have consequences once the second mode has been terminated. Further described herein is a system and method of using geolocation information within an AR session in which a virtual action can be initiated by a user that causes a corresponding virtual action to be displayed on a map of a virtual environment that parallels a physical environment displayed on a user gaming device of another user.
