  • Patent number: 11036365
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for detecting a browser hang condition and causing the browser to enter into a mitigation state. For instance, a window or tab of the browser executes via a first thread of the browser, and third-party code executes via a second thread of the browser. The first thread issues a hang resistance message to the second thread and waits for a response from the second thread. The second thread processes the hang resistance message after processing all other messages in its queue. Thus, if the first thread receives the response, the first thread determines that the second thread has not entered into a hang condition. However, if the first thread does not receive the response, the first thread determines that the second thread has entered into a hang condition and subsequently causes the browser to enter the mitigation state.

  • Patent number: 11037059
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for analyzing a first neural network via a second neural network according to a differentiable function. The method includes adding a derivative node to the first neural network that receives derivatives associated with a node of the first neural network. The derivative node is connected to the second neural network such that the second neural network can receive the derivatives from the derivative node. The method further includes feeding forward activations in the first neural network for a data item, back propagating a selected differentiable function, providing the derivatives from the derivative node to the second neural network as data, feeding forward the derivatives from the derivative node through the second neural network, and then back propagating a secondary objective through both neural networks. In various aspects, the learned parameters of one or both of the neural networks can be updated according to the back propagation calculations.

  • Patent number: 11035957
Abstract: One example method involves obtaining a plurality of images using a camera located at a given position relative to a light detection and ranging device (LIDAR). A first image of the plurality may be indicative of a view, via one or more optical elements of the LIDAR, of a receiver of the LIDAR. The method also involves determining simulated detector positions for intercepting reflections of simulated light beams associated with a plurality of light sources in a transmitter of the LIDAR. The method also involves determining one or more alignment offsets between the transmitter and the receiver based on at least the simulated detector positions and the plurality of images.

  • Patent number: 11035973
Abstract: A radiating beacon system includes a traced wire configured to produce a first magnetic field circulating around the traced wire. The system also includes a radiating beacon configured to produce a second magnetic field circulating around the radiating beacon, wherein the radiating beacon is coupled to the traced wire. The system further includes a locator transmitter configured to apply a tracing signal to the traced wire, wherein the locator transmitter is selectively coupled to the traced wire. The system includes a locator receiver configured to receive the first magnetic field and the second magnetic field, wherein the locator receiver produces an output in response to receiving the first magnetic field and the second magnetic field. Since digital decoders of digital network systems block valves from producing the second magnetic field, an underground irrigation system now includes the radiating beacon system to accurately locate the valves.

  • Patent number: 11033086
Abstract: New container dividers, related systems/container components, and containers comprising such systems along with other features are described herein and provided by this invention. In one aspect, container dividers comprising one or more dual position transformable dividers or sections are provided that allow for easy reallocation of storage capacity from one formable compartment to another, typically by application of a modest amount of force (e.g., a moderate pull). Once in a resting configuration the dividers resist structural deformation based on a combination of structural features. In some aspects containers are provided wherein a number of dividers can form two or more formable compartments. Also provided are new removable, flexible and reconfigurable multi-point dividers that can form linear, stacked, and diverse arrangements through allowing rotation approaching about 360 degrees along multiple hinges and that also or alternatively can be incorporated into containers of the invention.

  • Patent number: 11036791
Abstract: Descriptive data relating to at least a subset of a plurality of entities on a website is retrieved over a network. Endorsement data relating to the plurality of entities is retrieved from the website. A first set of probabilities is determined reflecting a probability that endorsements can be attributed to specific aspects. A second set of probabilities is determined reflecting a probability that terms can be attributed to aspects. Using the first set of probabilities and the second set of probabilities, a subset of the terms that are most probably associated with each entity are selected. Tags are then generated for each entity using the selected terms.
