  • Patent number: 12166538
Abstract: A communication system includes a plurality of repeater devices arranged at a plurality of different locations and are communicatively coupled over wired mediums. A first repeater device of the plurality of repeater devices obtains mmWave radio frequency (RF) and communicates, over a wired medium, the mmWave RF signal of the specified frequency to a second repeater device. The second repeater device extracts a plurality of different RF signals, corresponding to different communication protocols, from the mmWave RF signal and down-converts the extracted plurality of different RF signals. The second repeater device wirelessly distributes, from the mmWave RF signal, two or more different RF signals to end-user devices, packs content received from the end-user devices, and transmits upstream in the mmWave RF signal to the communication device via the first repeater device.

  • Patent number: 12167193
Abstract: Various arrangements for performing wireless device-to-device communication are presented. An audio output device, such as an earbud or pair of earbuds, can establish a connection with an audio source via a first Bluetooth interface that communicates using a Bluetooth communication protocol on a 2.4 GHz Bluetooth frequency band. The audio output device can negotiate that Bluetooth frequency-shifted communication, such as on a 5 or 6 GHz frequency band, is available for use with the audio source. The audio output device may then perform Bluetooth frequency-shifted communication with the audio source such that the audio output device receives an audio stream from the audio source using Bluetooth frequency-shifted communication and the Bluetooth communication protocol.

  • Patent number: 12162625
Abstract: Embodiments provide a compact vertiport system. The vertiport system may be efficient and compact by combining, into one space and time period, multiple activities that typically take place in different spaces and different times. For example, when an aircraft is being moved from a landing zone to a takeoff zone, the aircraft may also be charged simultaneously. Also, passenger exchange may take place while the aircraft is being moved. As a result, compact vertiport systems may fit into smaller spaces (e.g., tops of buildings, or smaller plots of land).

  • Patent number: 12165667
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are described for reducing degradation of a voice recognition input. An always listening device may always be listening for voice commands via a microphone and may experience interference from unwanted audio such as from the output audio of television speakers. The always listening device may receive data associated with the output audio over a first communications channel. The always listening device may also receive, on a second communications channel, timing information associated with data. The always listening device may adjust admission of the audio received by the microphone to enable it to arrive at approximately the same time as the data received via the first communications channel. The unwanted output audio included in the audio received via the microphone may then be determined and may be removed so that a voice command in the audio received by the microphone may be processed.

  • Patent number: 12165641
Abstract: A method includes receiving follow-on audio data captured by an assistant-enabled device, the follow-on audio data corresponding to a follow-on query spoken by a user of the assistant-enabled device to a digital assistant subsequent to the user submitting a previous query to the digital assistant. The method also includes processing, using a speech recognizer, the follow-on audio data to generate multiple candidate hypotheses, each candidate hypothesis corresponding to a candidate transcription for the follow-on query and represented by a respective sequence of hypothesized terms. For each corresponding candidate hypothesis among the multiple candidate hypotheses, the method also includes determining a corresponding similarity metric between the previous query and the corresponding candidate hypothesis and determining a transcription of the follow-on query spoken by the user based on the similarity metrics determined for the multiple candidate hypotheses.
