Abstract: A fast-attaching, self-aligning, easily adaptable firearm adapter. The novel adapter attaches to the barrel of a firearm while precisely aligning the barrel and adapter using a concentric constriction sleeve along the barrel and a barrel guide to funnel firearm muzzle. The device is adapted to attach to a wide range of barrel diameters via an easy to fit and inexpensive to manufacture fitment sleeve. Thus, the adapter can be manufactured in a single size and work with most firearms. In addition, the device attaches to the smooth section of barrel thereby eliminating the need for permanently modifying a firearm by threading the barrel.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a clinical decision support tool designed to address problems with blood pressure control, compliance with frequent monitoring requirements, diagnostic inertia, therapeutic inertia, and disease misclassification by using peak diurnal blood pressure. In some aspects, the systems and processes of the disclosure sort secondary hypertension conditions from a multitude of other underlying factors. The systems of the disclosure can use a drug sequencing algorithm based on age, ethnicity, associated-disease, renin/aldosterone levels, and other factors to evaluate their effects on blood pressure control, provider time, and provider/patient satisfaction.
Abstract: Vehicle suspension systems are described herein. An example apparatus includes a cam pivotably coupled to a rear axle. The example apparatus also includes a first tie rod having a first end pivotably coupled to the cam and a second end pivotably coupled to a steering knuckle. The example apparatus also includes a second tie rod having a first end pivotably coupled to the cam outboard relative to the first end of the first tie rod and a second end coupled to a steering actuator.

Abstract: A container is provided with a lid having a push-button trigger mechanism that operates both a drink seal for a drinking opening and a vent seal for a vent opening. The trigger translates in a straight line transverse to a longitudinal axis of the container body during the entire movement of the trigger to define a straight-line actuation stroke. The vent opening is initially opened during a first portion of the actuation stroke of the trigger, and the drink opening is initially opened during a second portion of the actuation stroke of the trigger.

Abstract: A device and method for testing and inspecting the integrity of an autoinjector device is disclosed. The autoinjector devices includes a medication container, a housing that receives the medication container, the housing including a plurality of electrodes arranged circumferentially relative to the medication container, and a plurality of electrical contacts corresponding to the plurality of electrodes and in electrical communication therewith, the electrical contacts being accessible from the exterior of the autoinjector device, wherein a circuit between at least one pair of electrodes, measured at the electrical contacts, indicates a defect in the medication container. A method of testing the integrity of the autoinjector device is also disclose, wherein a voltage is applied to the electrical contacts in order to determine the integrity of the medication container in the autoinjector device. Accordingly, defects in the pre-packaged medication container in the autoinjector device may be detected.
Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are provided for determining the efficiency of a charge pump. A charge pump is driven during a measurement period without limiting its input current. The driving can include ramping up the output of the charge pump from an initial level to a final level and maintaining the output at the final level. A counter counts a number of clock pulses provided to the charge pump during the measurement period. Using a current mirror which limits the input current, a ratio of the current mirror is determined which results in a similar number of clock pulses during the measurement period. The ratio indicates an efficiency of the charge pump and can be used to set control parameters such as ramp up rate and clock frequency.
Abstract: In some examples, a computing device refines feature information of query text. The device repeatedly determines attention information based at least in part on feature information of the image and the feature information of the query text, and modifies the feature information of the query text based at least in part on the attention information. The device selects at least one of a predetermined plurality of outputs based at least in part on the refined feature information of the query text. In some examples, the device operates a convolutional computational model to determine feature information of the image. The device network computational models (NCMs) to determine feature information of the query and to determine attention information based at least in part on the feature information of the image and the feature information of the query. Examples include a microphone to detect audio corresponding to the query text.

Abstract: A swing alert system disposed about a baseball setup that includes a pitcher and a batter, with one or more swing alert device that determine a speed and position of a ball along a flightpath of the ball pitched by the pitcher, the flightpath extending from the pitcher to a hitting location target proximate to the batter; determine a time when the ball will reach the hitting location target based at least in part on the determined speed and position of the ball along the flightpath; and generate a swing alert while the ball is traveling along the flightpath and before the ball reaches the hitting location target. The swing alert is generated at a time determined based at least in part on the determined time when the ball will reach the hitting location target and a defined swing time associated with the batter.
Abstract: A cartridge magazine is provided. The cartridge magazine may include a rib mounted on a vertical wall of the cartridge magazine. The cartridge may further include a ramp attached to a top of the rib. In another embodiment, the cartridge magazine may include an opening including spacer having a flat portion. The flat portion provides space for a cartridge of a particular caliber between the flat portion of the spacer and an opposing wall of the cartridge magazine.

Abstract: In one example, a method is provided for presenting cloud based storage as a virtual synthetic. The method begins when file system information is requested from a datacenter server. The requested file system information is then received at the requesting client from the datacenter server. Next, the received file system information is presented at the client in the form of a virtual file system interface that makes the file system information appear as a local file system to a user at the client, notwithstanding that the file system is not actually present at the client. Finally, user access at the client is enabled, by way of the file system interface, to data residing in the file system at the datacenter server, where the data is in the form of a virtual synthetic that includes respective portions of data from each of a plurality of backups residing at the datacenter.
Abstract: A metal-shelled hose assembly includes a metal outer shell lined with a flexible, water-tight inner tubing integrated with a bendable strain-relief section that is configured to allow the metal-shelled hose to be pulled from a straight angle regardless of where it is attached. The bendable strain-relief section is provided at least at the faucet end of the hose, where it effectively changes the angle of the length of the metal hose relative to the faucet when the hose is pulled at an angle to the faucet.
Abstract: A semiconductor wafer has a base material. The semiconductor wafer may have an edge support ring. A grinding phase of a surface of the semiconductor wafer removes a portion of the base material. The grinder is removed from or lifted off the surface of the semiconductor wafer during a separation phase. The surface of the semiconductor wafer and under the grinder is rinsed during the grinding phase and separation phase to remove particles. A rinsing solution is dispensed from a rinsing solution source to rinse the surface of the semiconductor wafer. The rinsing solution source can move in position while dispensing the rinsing solution to rinse the surface of the semiconductor wafer. The grinding phase and separation phase are repeated during the entire grinding operation, when grinding conductive TSVs, or during the final grinding stages, until the final thickness of the semiconductor wafer is achieved.

In one aspect, a method comprises: selecting a given digital component from among a plurality of digital components based on a current scanning priority of the given digital component; scanning the given digital component, comprising determining a current state of the given digital component; determining a current context of the given digital component based on one or more of: (i) the current state of the given digital component, or (ii) a current scan index of the given digital component that specifies a number of times the given digital component has been scanned; determining an updated scanning priority of the given digital component based on the current context of the given digital component; and re-scanning the given digital component according to the updated scanning priority.
Abstract: Systems and methods of providing an electrolyte membrane for metal batteries are described. According to aspects of the disclosure, a battery cell includes an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte membrane therebetween. The electrolyte membrane is formed from a mixture including a matrix precursor portion and an electrolyte portion. In some aspects, the membrane is polymerized after being applied to the battery component.
