The plug may include a body portion for limiting the flow of one material through the opening. The plug may also include one or more support members for maintaining space between the portion of the article of manufacture and the body portion of the plug to allow flow of another material through the opening. In one preferred application, the plug is installed in an opening in a lower portion of a door of an automotive vehicle.
