    Abstract: A dispenser for one or more units of a controlled substance is configured to hold the units of the controlled substance, an adhesive, and a neutralizing agent. The dispenser is configured to perform a method that includes: upon occurrence of a triggering condition, i) crushing the units of the controlled substance, ii) pushing or releasing the adhesive around the crushed units of the controlled substance, and iii) pushing or releasing the neutralizing agent inside and/or outside of the dispenser.
