Patents Assigned to Lodox Systems (Proprietary) Limited
  • Patent number: 7873142
Abstract: Imaging apparatus comprises a radiation source arranged to generate a divergent imaging beam and an associated radiation detector mounted on a C-arm which can rotate. A first drive is arranged to move the radiation source and the detector relative to a subject in a scanning direction to generate output signals from the detector, thereby performing a scan generating image data containing distortion in a direction transverse to the scanning direction. A second drive is arranged to rotate the C-arm, to change the orientation of the radiation source in a direction transverse to the scanning direction incrementally between repeated scans, thereby to generate a plurality of sets of image data.

  • Publication number: 20090147925
Abstract: A method of calibrating an imaging system includes placing a calibration tool in a position relative to the imaging system where an object to be imaged in normal use of the system would be placed. An image of the calibration tool is taken and the resulting image is used to calibrate the imaging system.

  • Patent number: 7519160
Abstract: Linear scanning x-ray apparatus generates a collimated fan beam which is moved together with a detector relative to a subject to generate a composite x-ray image of the subject. An adjustable collimator varies the width of the imaging beam in the scan direction. A control system responds to adjustment of the collimator to combine output signals of groups of two or more pixels in the detector, in order to optimize the contrast resolution of the image signals for a given spatial resolution. The invention provides a collimator for use in the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6921200
Abstract: X-ray imaging apparatus is provided for generating a composite image of a subject by moving a radiation source (12) and a camera array (122) relative to the subject. A drive mechanism (22) generates clock signals which are used to synchronize the operation of the camera array with the movement thereof, and the composite image data which is generated is stored for display and further signal processing. Control means move the radiation source (12) and the camera array (122) according to the intensity of the imaging beam.
