Abstract: Provided is a method of remote wake-up of a computer connected to a network, using wake-up packet pattern settings. The method ensures that the computer is not waked-up by an unnecessary packet transmitted through the network during a sleep mode so as to be maintained to be in the sleep mode, and is waked-up by a terminal connected to the network when a user wants to wake-up the computer. Using the method, a wake-up packet pattern is defined in order to prevent the computer from being waked-up by an unnecessary packet transmitted through the network, and the computer enters the sleep mode again even if the computer is inevitably waked-up due to an operating manner of the network.

Abstract: Provided are a web browsing environment provider system for multiple users, in which a remote server computer is used, and a method of controlling the system. The system includes a user device on which a user interface is displayed for reading a web page and controlling web browsing, and a web browsing environment server efficiently generating and managing an independent web browsing environment for each respective user device, notifying the user device about a state of the independent web browsing environment, rendering a web page, executing active contents contained in the web page, transmitting a web page image that is rendered to the user device, and controlling an operation requested by the user device to operate in the web browsing environment, thereby saving on resources related to performance.

Abstract: The present invention relates a system for providing an interface of a web page. A system for providing an interface of a web page according to the present invention: a web server that generates pagelet information including a portion of web page providing information and when a terminal requests the transmission of the web page, transmits a web page including the pagelet information to the terminal; and a terminal that extracts a pagelet information from the web page to generate a pagelet and displays a pagelet capable of controlling a screen independent of the web page when the terminal requests the transmission of the web page to the web server and receives the web page from the web server. With the present invention, the terminal having the display device having a limited size can conveniently use the information of the web page using the pagelet that is a small-sized web page.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a control method of efficiently controlling a computer at a remote place using a limited input/output device and a remote communication terminal with limited memory capacity even in a communication network environment where the data transmission rate is limited and the transmission cost is high. The control method in accordance with the present invention includes an input method optimized for a limited input device of a terminal, a screen display method optimized for a small screen of a terminal, and a screen data transmission function optimized for a communication network speed, a transmission cost, and a limited memory capacity of a terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a display control method and a mobile terminal using the method, which can promptly move a pointing cursor between entities, and can easily move the pointing cursor to an arbitrary location on the screen. The display control method according to the present invention displays a user interface and a pointing cursor, if a movement key for moving the pointing cursor is pressed for a period of time greater than a preset period of time, the indication location of the pointing cursor is moved to correspond to the manipulation direction of the movement key. In contrast, if the movement key is pressed for a period of time equal to or less than the preset period of time, the indication location of the pointing cursor is moved to an entity close to the pointing cursor in the manipulation direction of the movement key.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an Internet mail client system for a mobile device employing a remote computer and a control method thereof. The Internet mail client system for a mobile device according to the present invention includes a remote computer accessible to a mail server, a mobile device provided with a user interface for controlling an operation of the remote computer, and a control server for controlling an operation corresponding to a mail processing function item, which is requested by the mobile device through the user interface, to be executed in the remote computer, and notifying the mobile device of an operating status of the remote computer. Furthermore, when the remote computer is not available, the control server can perform some of functions of the remote computer. According to the present invention, a mail task can be performed to the same extent that the task is directly performed in a personal computer by using a mobile device and a remote computer at a predetermined place.
