Abstract: A medicament dispensing device (10) comprises a first compartment (14), a second compartment (15) and at least one opening (16) accessible by a consumer and adapted to allow the consumer to retrieve a medicament package dispensed from one of the compartments (14, 15). The first compartment (14) receives and dispenses a corresponding first type of medicament package and has an internal configuration adapted to receive the first type of medicament package. The second compartment (15) receives and dispenses a corresponding second type of medicament package and has an internal configuration that differs from the first compartment (14) and that is adapted to receive the second type of medicament package but not the first type of medicament package.
