Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of pins, and two connecting bases. The insulating body has a body portion and a connecting portion. The body portion has two receiving spaces. Each pin has a contacting portion and a piercing portion. The pins are disposed in an upper row and a lower row and are installed in the insulating body. The contacting portions extend to the connecting portion of the insulating body. The piercing portions extend into the two receiving spaces. Each connecting base has a plurality of wire slots. Each wire slot is connected with a guiding slot. The two connecting bases are installed in the two receiving spaces. The piercing portions pass through the guiding slots and enter into the wire slots to electrically connect with the conducting wires. Thereby, the manufacturing process is simplified, the cost is reduced, and the environment protection is achieved.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body, and a plurality of pins. Each of the pins has a contacting part and a piercing part. The piercing part extends from the rear end of the contacting part. There is at least one piercing end formed at the edge of the piercing part. The pins are installed at the insulating body. Thereby, the piercing parts of the pins pierce through the insulating layer of the wire to contact and electrically connect with the conducting lines of the wire in the inner part of the insulating layer. The manufacturing process is simplified, the cost is reduced, and environmental protection standards are met.

Abstract: A metallic housing structure for USB connectors, includes a housing body and a lid body. The housing body has a base plate, two side plates extending up from the two sides of the base plate and a top plate connected to the upper front of the two side plates. The back part of the top of the housing body forms an opening hole. The lid body is formed as a integral piece and is connected to the housing body. The lid body can close up the opening hole. Thus, a metallic housing structure is formed that reduced material and molding costs, increases production efficiency and offers better electromagnetic shielding.
