    Abstract: This disclosure provides injectable microsphere formulations capable of controlled long-term sustained release. The disclosed microsphere formulations demonstrate a zero-order release of active agents over a predetermined period of time. Also disclosed are methods of preparing the microsphere formulations and methods of use thereof. The disclosed methods can be readily scaled up while maintaining a high drug encapsulation efficiency.
