Abstract: Methods and systems for adaptively assigning a questionnaire to a user are disclosed. In one embodiment, a transactional data and log data associated with activities performed by each user of a plurality of users may be captured. The transactional data and the log data may be analyzed to retrieve a first set of parameters and a second set of parameters. A profile for each user of the plurality of users may be generated by analyzing the first set of parameters. A complexity index value of each questionnaire of the plurality of questionnaires may be determined by analyzing the second set of parameters. The profile of each user of the plurality of users may be matched with the complexity index value of each questionnaire of the plurality of questionnaires. Based upon the matching, at least one questionnaire from the plurality of questionnaires may be assigned to the user.
Abstract: The present disclosure described herein, generally relates to a system and method for displaying user-specific content on an online learning platform. In one aspect, a method and system are disclosed for displaying user-specific content retrieved from an internet to the user, based on user's requirement. Based on the interaction of the user with the learning platform, a user-profile may be generated and further categorized into a pre-defined learning category. Along with the user-profile, the system may be also configured to generate a profile of content fetched from the online library of the learning platform on basis of pre-defined parameters. From the content profiled, phrases may be extracted for generating search strings. These search strings may be further used to perform an automated search over the internet to retrieve the user-specific content. Further, the user-specific content may be also profiled on basis of the pre-defined parameters.
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for enabling a student to achieve a proficiency level in a first learning grade on a learning management platform. A learning map generator is configured to generate an interactive learning map comprising a plurality of nodes on the learning management platform. The learning map generator is configured to form a layer comprising a first content object and a first assessment object on a first node of the plurality of nodes. Further, the learning map generator is configured to selectively embed on the first layer a plurality of content objects and a plurality of assessment objects from a Data Store using a recommendation engine. A visualization engine is configured to display the interactive learning map to the student and an instructor. The instructor evaluates the performance of the student accessing and attempting the plurality of content objects and the plurality of assessment objects respectively on the interactive learning map.
Abstract: Method and system for evaluating performance a user on an e-learning system is disclosed. A capturing module is configured to capture activity data related to a plurality of entities from the user in un-structured form wherein the activity data comprises a transactional data and a log data. An ETL module is configured to process the transactional data and the log data to derive a structured data. After processing, the ETL module is further configured to load the structured data into a structured database and further determines an evaluation index for the user by performing statistical analysis on the structured data. Based on the statistical analysis, the ETL module is further configured to compare the evaluation index with a benchmark value pre-defined for the evaluation index by other user. Moreover an analytics module is configured to generate a report and an alert for the other user to evaluate the performance of the user based on the comparison.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for enhancing interactive online learning technology. In one embodiment, the document transformation module transforms the input document in an extensible markup language (XML) format. The document parser module parses the input document transformed using an extensible style sheet language transformation (XSLT). The navigation file creation module creates a navigation order between a plurality of content in the input document parsed, wherein the navigation order is created to describe a relative path between the contents. The asset file creation module creates an asset file, wherein the asset file is created based on the relative path between the contents. The tagging module tags the contents in the input document transformed. The repository stores the input document transformed comprising: the navigation order, the asset file and the tags, in a repository and the interface enables a user to communicate with other user on the system using the stored document.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for evaluating performance of at least one first-user on an online platform. A course-builder module enables a second-user to create at least one assignment and to define a set of assessment criteria for assessing the at least one assignment. After creating the at least one assignment, a course-attempting module is configured to enable a first-user to attempt and submit the at least one assignment. Once the at least one assignment is submitted by the first-user, a similarity-check module is configured to apply a similarity-check algorithm on the submitted assignment to automatically generate a report having a score quantifying similarity of the assignment with a content from an online source. Upon applying the similarity-check, a grading module is configured to evaluate the performance of the first-user by assigning a grade to the assignment on the basis of the predefined set of criteria.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for enabling an electronic reader embedded on e-learning system. In one implementation, the system comprises a Graphical User Interface (GUI) module, a receiving module, a capturing module, a generating module, a database and a communication module. The GUI module is configured to display a first content object to one or more users connected on the online e-learning platform. The receiving module is configured to receive an electronic input signal from a user to highlight a first sub-content object in the first content object. The capturing module is configured to capture first metadata associated with the first sub-content object. The generating module is configured to generate a second content object comprising the first sub-content highlighted based on the first metadata. The database is configured for storing the second content object. The communication module is configured to share the second content object in real-time.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for evaluating at least one content object received from at least one user through an input module in a collaborative platform. The system comprises an analyzing module, a publishing module, an evaluation module and a display module. The analyzing module is configured to detect whether the at least one content object is extraneous. The publishing module is configured to publish the at least one content object not detected as extraneous. After publishing, the evaluation module verifies whether the at least one content object or any other content object has been previously published by the at least one user. Based on the verification, the evaluation module selectively enables at least one other user to assign a preliminary score or a secondary score the at least one content object and to optionally mark the at least one content object assigned with the secondary score as ‘substantive’.
