Abstract: A seating structure includes a frame, a seat, a bracket housing, a translucent seat back, and an illumination source. The seat and a bracket housing is connected to the frame. A translucent seat back is placed inside the bracket housing and an illumination source emits light into the translucent seat back to cause the translucent seat back to glow. A second seating structure also includes a color changing apparatus. The second seating structure includes a seat and a bracket housing that is connected to the frame. The seat back is connected to the bracket housing. An illumination source emits a first color of light into the seat back to cause the translucent seat back to glow. A color changing apparatus causes the illumination source to change from emitting the first color into the seat back to emitting a second color of light into the seat back.
