Publication number: 20030153127Abstract: Techniques are provided for preventing occurrence of damage to the top surface of a semiconductor chip at the time of die bonding the semiconductor chip by use of a contact collet. A protection tape is pasted to the top surface of the semiconductor chip before die bonding of the semiconductor chip is executed by pressing the back surface (underside) of the semiconductor chip sucked and securely held by the contact collect against respective chip-mounting regions of a multi-wiring board. The contact collect is, for example, substantially cylindrical in outside shape, and a bottom part (suction head) thereof is made of a soft synthetic rubber, and so forth. The protection tape pasted to pasted to the top surface of the semiconductor chip can prevent the top surface of the semiconductor chip from coming in direct contact with the contact collet even at the time of vacuum suction by pressing the suction head of the contact collect against the top surface of the semiconductor chip.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2003Publication date: August 14, 2003Applicant: Hitachi, Ltd. Publication number: 20020126049Abstract: To provide an antenna element having a radiation electrode formed mainly on one surface of a dielectric substrate. The radiation electrode is substantially symmetric in form with respect to the center thereof, and has a first half and a second half with the same direction of main polarization of radiation emitted therefrom. Each of the halves of the radiation electrode may be a quarter-wave antenna for a wavelength of the emitted radiation. A power supply conductor to be connected to a high frequency signal source is connected to the first half of the radiation electrode, and a ground conductor to be connected to a ground is connected to the second half. A total impedance of the first half of the radiation electrode and the power supply conductor and a total impedance of the second half of the radiation electrode and the ground conductor can substantially match to one another, so that resonance between the halves of the radiation electrode can be enhanced and a wider bandwidth can be realized.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2002Publication date: September 12, 2002Applicant: HITACHI LTD., HITACHI METALS, LTD.Inventors: Hiroshi Okabe, Eriko Takeda, Hiroyuki Aoyama, Keiko Kikuchi

Patent number: 6431004Abstract: Support members are provided on the terminal portions of a sensor main body. In this state, a seal portion is formed by molding, and the seal portion seals the terminal portions of the sensor main body. During molding, external pressure acts on a housing. However, since four electrode wires pulled out from the housing are supported by insulating support members, the four electrode wires do not contact one another due to the pressure applied during molding, and thus do not short-circuit.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2001Date of Patent: August 13, 2002Assignee: Asmo Co., Ltd. & Hitachi Cable, Ltd.Inventors: Hidenori Ishihara, Noboru Tsuge, Shigeru Kashiwazaki, Fumitaka Nakahigashi, Koji Horii

Patent number: 6014604Abstract: The object of this invention is to reduce shift shocks by controlling the driving torque during gear shift changing so that the driving torque is represented by a smooth, ideal waveform. The driving torque calculating means estimates the output shaft torque of the automatic transmission from the engine torque characteristic or torque converter characteristic and, based on the estimated driving torque, generate a targeted torque pattern during gear shift changing. The engine torque control value calculating means calculates the control value for controlling the engine output torque, i.e., an ignition timing correction value .DELTA..theta.ig, so as to eliminate the deviation between the targeted torque and the driving torque estimated by the driving torque calculating means. This ignition timing correction approximates the driving torque to the smooth targeted torque. This configuration realizes the object mentioned above.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 1998Date of Patent: January 11, 2000Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd. & Hitachi Car Engineering Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Kuroiwa, Masahiko Ibamoto, Kazuhiko Sato, Mitsuyoshi Okada, Masami Shida

Patent number: 4881201Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a semiconductor nonvolatile memory, a booster circuit which generates a high voltage required for writing the data into said semiconductor nonvolatile memory, and a control circuit. With the thus constructed device, however, various external control signals often fail to assume definite levels when the power source is closed. If an operation mode to be designated is erroneously determined to be a write operation mode due to obscure levels of the external control signals, then the write operation is executed erroneously. To prevent such an eronneous operation from developing when the power source is closed, provision is made of a power souce closure detector circuit and a suitable gate circuit. Owing to these circuits, the output of the booster circuit is prevented from being applied to the memory element from the time from when the power source circuit is closed up to the time when the read operation mode is designated by an external control signal.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 1987Date of Patent: November 14, 1989Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd. & Hitachi Microcomputer Engineering, Ltd.Inventors: Nobuyuki Sato, Kazuaki Ujiie, Masaaki Terasawa, Shinji Nabetani

Patent number: 4728189Abstract: An absorption profile indicative of a relation in atomic absorption spectroscopy between the absorbance of a desired element and time has a constant half-width independent of the concentration of the desired element in a sample, and hence the half-width of absorption profile with respect to the desired element can be previously determined from data which is obtained by the measurement of a standard sample. In an atomic absorption spectrophotometer herein disclosed, the half-width of absorption profile is previously determined in the above-mentioned manner, and the true peak value of an absorption profile obtained by measuring a sample which contains the desired element at a high concentration, is calculated using the time width of this absorption profile at a predetermined absorbance and the previously-determined half-width.Type: GrantFiled: January 23, 1987Date of Patent: March 1, 1988Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.
