Abstract: In a tank for transporting compressed liquified gasses, a rigid baffle is placed at the top of the liquid. This baffle prevents any portion or segment of the liquid from rising above a static level and therefore prevents lateral surging as well as forward and aft surging. One embodiment is a plate-like horizontal baffle and another is a baffle forward of a plurality of vapor traps depending from the top. A clear, open passageway under the baffles provides workmen rapid access to the manhole.
Abstract: An isolation frame is connected between a conventional three-point hitch of a tractor and a vibrating plow frame. The vibrating plow frame has a plurality of rippers thereon and is mounted to the isolation frame to vibrate in a horizontal direction normal to the direction of draft. The isolation frame itself can vibrate in a horizontal direction normal to the direction of draft.
Abstract: The main bed of an implement trailer is lowered to the ground by pivoting a rear frame and forward gooseneck toward the main bed. The main bed is raised from the ground by pivoting the rear frame and forward gooseneck away from the main bed. A battery, electric motor, and hydraulic pump mounted on the gooseneck provide hydraulic pressure to operate hydraulic cylinders connecting the rear frame and gooseneck to the main bed. The battery is recharged from a towing vehicle.
