  • Patent number: 9373976
Abstract: A device charging system that uses the fact that individual devices do not need to be continuously charged for an extended charging period in order to be fully charged at the end of the period. With automatic timing and switching, different devices can be charged at different times during the charging period with the result that all the devices are fully charged at the end of the period. Several charging power boxes that fit into one or more charging cabinets that are controlled by one or more timers. Each charging power box also includes a heat sensor and circuit breaker. User appliances or electronic devices can be stacked in the cabinets, plugged into numerous outlets available on the charging power boxes and then locked inside the cabinet for overnight charging and security. Any abnormal rise in temperature within the cabinet can shut down the entire charging process.

  • Patent number: 5621614
Abstract: The apparatus of the present invention comprises a housing defining a closed interior volume of a size sufficient to accommodate the appliance, a first heat sink located within the housing, a second heat sink located outside the housing, a reversible heat pump disposed between and in heat conductive engagement with each of the first and second heat sinks, a temperature sensor located within the housing, and electronic circuitry to actuate the heat pump in either of a first cooling mode or a second heating mode in response to predetermined temperature set points sensed by the temperature sensor within the housing. The apparatus also includes an appliance support tray and a holding bracket that engages and maintains the tray in spaced relation within the housing. A pressure equalizing diaphragm is also employed to accommodate pressure changes within the housing.

  • Patent number: 5310152
Abstract: The invention disclosed is a television mounting frame with a removable lifting assembly for facilitating the installation of heavy equipment, particularly large televisions. A television or the like is affixed to a lower frame yolk. An upper frame yolk, which complimentarily engages with the lower yolk to form a complete frame, is mounted to an overhead structure via a hanger pipe attached to a mounting bracket. A lifting assembly is removably affixed to the hanger pipe and disposed so that the winch cable may unwind from the winch and through the hanger pipe for attachment to the television mounted on the lower frame yolk. Once attached to the cable, the television may be lifted into engagement with the upper frame yolk without the use of large and cumbersome scaffolding systems or many assistants. The winch assembly may then be removed for use in the installation of other equipment to different mounting brackets.
