Abstract: A lighting fixture includes, a lower portion including a plurality of lighting elements and an upper portion. An exterior protective casing is configured to house the upper and lower portions to protect them from an outside environment. An accordion gasket connects the lower portion and the upper portion. The accordion gasket is configured to maintain a seal between the lower portion and the upper portion when the lower portion is tilted with respect to the upper portion and when the lower portion and the upper portion are rotated with respect to the exterior protective casing.
Abstract: A light emitting panel assembly is provided. The light emitting panel assembly includes: a housing; a light guide within the housing, the light guide having a first major surface with a plurality of extraction elements, a second major surface, a lower surface, an upper surface, a light source adjacent to the lower surface of the light guide; and an upper guide reflector having a diffuse reflective surface adjacent to and facing the upper surface of the light guide, whereby light from the light source traveling through the light guide toward the upper guide reflector spreads within the light guide, and whereby the upper guide reflector homogenizes the light before the light is redirected to the light guide. A luminaire comprising such a light emitting panel assembly is also provided.

Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a light engine elastically coupled to a front ring module. The light engine includes a heat sink and at least one biasing member is coupled between the heat sink and the front ring module. The at least one biasing member is configured to urge the front ring module toward the heat sink. The biasing member could be a spring or an elastic band.
