Abstract: There is provided a light fixture comprising a light source. The light source has a housing terminating in a first end, and the housing has a housing connector proximate the first end. The housing also has a heat sink disposed inside the housing and a light emitter disposed inside the housing. The light emitter is positioned to allow a light emitted by the light emitter to exit the housing through the first end. The light source also has a connector in electrical communication with the light emitter. The housing connector is configured for reversibly securing the light source to one or more of: an adaptor reversibly securable to a trim configured for securing the light fixture to a substrate, and the trim.
Abstract: A heat sink for a light emitting diode light fixture is provided. The heat sink comprises a housing for receiving driver electronics for powering one or more light emitting diodes of the light fixture. The housing comprises a cavity facing a direction of light emission. The cavity is shaped to receive the driver electronics when the heat sink is connected to the light fixture. The heat sink also comprises a heat exchanging portion thermally coupled to the housing. The heat exchanging portion is for absorbing heat from at least one of the one or more light emitting diodes and the driver electronics, conducting the heat to extremities of the heat exchanging portion, and dissipating the heat to an environment external to the light fixture.
Abstract: A landscape light is provided, which comprises a support, a head, an adaptor, and a fastener. The support is for securing the landscape light to a substrate. The head comprises a body, a light source for emitting light along a direction of light emission, a cover, and a first adjustment member secured to the body. The adaptor comprises a second adjustment member secured to a stem. The stem is removably securable to the support, and is shaped and sized to be removably securable to the support and to one or more other supports for securing the landscape light to one or more other types of different substrates. The second adjustment member is removably securable to the first adjustment member in a plurality of positions for adjusting a tilt angle between the head and the support. The fastener is for removably fastening the first adjustment member to the second adjustment member.
