Abstract: A folding ramp is provided that includes an upper ramp, a lower ramp, and at least one handle assembly for providing ease of transport of the folding ramp. The upper ramp extends between a first end and a second end, and includes an upper ramp loading track, an upper first side support, an upper second side support, and a vehicle mounting member. The lower ramp extends between a first end and a second end, and the lower ramp includes a lower ramp loading track, a lower first side support, a lower second side support, a ground engaging member, and the rotation member. The upper ramp and the lower ramp include a rotation member that extends between the upper and lower first side supports and the upper and lower second side supports to allow rotation of the lower ramp relative to the upper ramp. The lower ramp loading track includes a first side and a second side and extends from the first end of the lower ramp to the second end of the lower ramp.

Abstract: A vehicle shield device includes a hood protector region and hood attachment region. The hood protector region is constructed for extending across at least a portion of a vehicle hood for protecting the vehicle hood. The hood protector region includes at least one flexible region for allowing folding of the hood protector region to provide the vehicle shield device in a folded configuration that is shorter than the full length of the vehicle shield device as it would be provided when mounted to a vehicle hood so that the vehicle shield device can be packaged and shipped in the folded configuration. The hood protector region and the hood attachment region can be provided from a molded and continuous plastic sheet.

Abstract: A pickup truck bed frame is described that includes a frame member, a left support structure, and a right support structure. The frame member includes a frame member left end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed left sidewall, a frame member right end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed right sidewall, and a central member constructed to extend across a pickup truck cab from the frame member left end to the frame member right end. The left support structure includes a left support arm having a left support arm first end constructed for attachment to the frame member, and a left support arm second end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck left sidewall. The right support structure includes a right support arm having a right support arm first end constructed for attachment to the frame member, and a right support arm second end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed right sidewall.

Abstract: A box lid that can be used on a truck box is provided according to the invention. The box lid includes an outer box lid member constructed to fit over a box, an inner box lid member attached to the outer box lid member to provide a cavity between the outer box lid member and the inner box lid member, and injection foam provided within the cavity between the outer box lid member and the inner box lid member. The outer box lid member includes a cover member having a periphery, and a depending wall extending along the cover member periphery. The injection foam can be polyurethane foam. A method for manufacturing a box lid and a pickup truck bed box are provided.

Abstract: A molded full cover floor mat is contoured and shaped for placement in the front compartment area of a truck or similarly configured vehicular floor area. The mat is one piece and is made from a pliable plastic material. It has a central tray-like area in both a driver foot well area and a front passenger foot well area to retain debris. It further has a multi-faceted retention system to hold the mat in place during use. The mat is shaped to abut against door sills and seat attachment hardware and further has retention tabs on lateral edges which interact with the vehicle's door sills.

Abstract: The present invention provides apparatuses and methods for producing molded products such as floor mats, including automotive floor mats. In one embodiment, a molding process is provided for producing a molded product using a mold having a lower plate and an upper plate. The molding process includes steps of filling a first cavity of the lower plate with a liquid molding material of a first color, placing the upper plate on top of the lower plate such that a convex portion of the upper plate extends into the first cavity of the lower plate and contacts the molding material in the lower plate, and curing the liquid molding material.

Abstract: A running board for a motor vehicle is provided. The running board includes a bracket assembly and a shroud for covering the bracket assembly. The bracket assembly includes a forward fastening plate and a rearward fastening plate for attachment to a motor vehicle, a bar extending between the forward fastening plate and the rearward fastening plate, and a step member attached to the bar extending between the forward fastening plate and the rearward fastening plate and providing a step area. The shroud includes a step shroud constructed to cover the step member, a forward shroud constructed to cover the bar extending from the step member to the forward fastening plate, and a rearward shroud constructed to cover the bar extending from the step member to the rearward fastening plate. The running board can include a bracket adapter for attaching the forward fastening plate and the rearward fastening plate to the motor vehicle. A method for installing a running board on a motor vehicle is provided.
