Abstract: The present invention provides an improved uncoupling membrane for use between a top coat of mortar in which a tile layer is set and a base coat of mortar applied to a substrate surface. The membrane being of the type including a dimpled plastic layer, the dimples defining, on one side of the membrane, a number of depressions into which the top coat extends in use and, on the other side of the membrane, a number of protuberances. The improvement may include a polymeric coating overlaying the plastic layer and to which the top coat of mortar adheres in use.

Abstract: A hand-held tool. The tool comprises an interchangeable blade or blades located at an end of an L-shaped frame. The frame has a first portion and a second portion, the first portion attached at its end to the second portion in perpendicular fashion. The blade is located at an end of the second portion and has a working edge, which may be sharp, rough, serrated, or otherwise adapted for an application. A motor supported inside the frame provides reciprocal motion to the blade, the motion in a direction parallel to a length of the first portion of the L-shaped frame.
Abstract: The invention is a triangular shipping container that is easily closed, easily opened, and that is reusable. The container is formed from a cardboard sheet that is provided with a number of mating male and female tabs.
