  • Patent number: 11587025
Abstract: A computer implemented method for procedure tray management, comprising storing in a database a set of procedure tray types, displaying, on a user interface, a list of procedure tray types, and displaying, in response to a user input, a list of items included in a selected procedure tray type. The method further includes automatically determining a recommended modification to the selected procedure tray type by identifying recommended item additions as items which are included in a template associated with the selected procedure tray type and not included in the selected procedure tray and electronically communicating the proposed modified procedure tray type to at least some users associated with the selected procedure tray. In response to a confirmation from at least one user the selected procedure tray type is updated in the database.

  • Patent number: 11559441
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a wound dressing having a substrate, and a wound dressing manufactured by such a method are described. The method has a step of providing a sacrificial layer of material to be perforated by means of a hot pin perforator, in order to remove any molten residues on the heated pins of the hot pin perforator, before the same pins are used to make holes in the substrate. The presented method is cost effective, robust and reduces the risk of contaminating substances being embedded in the substrate during the hole making process.

  • Patent number: 11395766
Abstract: Disclosed is a medical dressing having a pad and a border portion. The pad can have a rim and the border portion extends along said rim. The medical dressing can be arranged in a first substantially planar configuration and be folded along a first line, and a second portion of said medical dressing is formed and a second substantially cup-shaped configuration. The first portion can be facing and contacting said second portion. Said first substantially planar configuration the first and second portions can be connected by means of a fixed connection along a second line, which defines a second line segment having a first and a second end-point. The first and second line segments are connected at their respective first end-points such that an angle between 90 and 175 degrees is formed between the first and second line segments when the medical dressing is in the first substantially planar configuration.
