Abstract: In a device for dispensing milk and/or milk froth from a container (1) containing milk, this container is placed in a coolable cabinet (3). Via an extraction line (4) and a further line (5), the milk reaches an emulsifying device (6) disposed outside the coolable cabinet. The product received is dispensed from this emulsifying device (6) via the discharge nozzle (7). Steam is feedable into the emulsifying device (6) with which steam the milk conducted through the emulsifying device (6) is able to be heated up and/or frothed up. The further line (5) consists of a flexible tube which is placed in a peristaltic pump (9). This peristaltic pump (9) is equipped with switching means (10) with which the peristaltic pump (9) is switchable from a closed pump state into an open pump state releasing the passage of the flexible tube (5). Milk of different temperatures or milk froth can be optimally dispensed using this device; in addition an optimal cleaning can be carried out.
Abstract: A device for separating coffee grounds from rinse water is disposed beneath a drain pipe of the coffee-making machine. This device comprises a tubular jacket having on the top side thereof an inlet opening for admitting rinse water containing coffee grounds. Detachably connected to one end of the jacket is a funnel-shaped, resilient end piece having a small aperture. On the underside of the jacket is a slot in which a strainer is inserted, through which rinse water but not coffee grounds can flow out of the jacket. Within the jacket there is a piston slidingly driven by a drive piston for pressing rinse water out of the coffee grounds. In order for the coffee grounds to leave the jacket, sufficient pressure must be exerted on the grounds to press part of them through the thus widened aperture in the resilient end piece. By separating the coffee grounds from the rinse water, the device keeps the grounds out of the sewer system.
Abstract: An operating table having a plurality of hydraulic jacks for adjustment purposes is equipped with a pressure fluid reservoir containing sufficient fluid to supply the jacks for carrying out several hundred strokes so that the operating table may be left free of any electrical equipment and of pressure fluid hoses leading to the outside during use of the table.
Abstract: A frame supporting a combined back-rest and seat of an operating table, together with a saddle-piece projecting from one end of the supporting frame, is disposed upon the head of a supporting column in such a way as to be tiltable in all directions, and supporting parts of a head- and shoulder-rest and of a leg-rest of the operating table are interchangeable, for the purpose of obtaining a wide range of radioscopic capability.
Abstract: An osteotome comprising an interchangeable saw-blade, a crank, and a driving shaft makes possible simultaneous reciprocating and vertical swiveling movements of the saw-blade, thus obviating setting of the saw-teeth, enabling narrow cuts to be made in bone, and providing the opportunity for required sterilization and cooling.
