Abstract: An anti-theft box displays goods that are attractive by theft in shops and department stores. The anti-theft box includes a cassette (10) having a lid (11). An element is provided on or in the anti-theft box for wireless activation of an alarm device if the anti-theft box is carried through an exit of a shop or a department store. A lock mechanism is provided on the inside of the lid, which includes a lock slide (15) provided with lock bolts (16), which can be displaced in plane parallel fashion in order to bring the lock bolts into and out of locking engagement with the cassette (10). A latch mechanism (36) is provided to latch, in an engaged position thereof, the lock side with the lock bolts in the engaged position and can be actuated to a disengaged position by means of a special tool to allow displacement of the lock bolts from the engaged position.
Abstract: A lock mechanism including a lock member which is normally held in an engaged position to be magnetically operated from said engaged position to a disengaged position, said lock member comprising a spring blade and an engagement member projecting therefrom transversely to the flat side of the spring blade at one end thereof, the spring blade being fixedly secured at the other end thereof, and a safety device for CD boxes having such a lock mechanism.
Abstract: The invention provides a seal for a box (10, 11) enclosing a compact disc, which comprises two rectangular box halves hingedly interconnected. The seal comprises a blocking element (14, 15, 16) to be applied to the box on the outside thereof, and this blocking element engages the two box halves with the box in closed position and is engaged therewith by means of a latch mechanism (18, 19) positively locking into the box halves. The latch mechanism can be operated to an unlocked position by means of a special tool for disengaging the blocking element from the box.
