Patent number: 9753165Abstract: Embodiments of a system are provided for forming enhanced seismic array traces using virtual seismic sensors in addition to the real seismic sensors to form a virtual seismic array. The system receives the signal responses from the real sensors, processes the signal responses from the sensors to define virtual signals using a narrowband decomposition of the complex envelope of the sensor signal responses, calculates second- and fourth-order statistics to derive steering vectors for the array of real sensors, and forms a virtual seismic array in response thereto. Machines, computer program product, and computer-implemented methods are provided for forming enhanced seismic array traces by receiving the array responses from sensors, processing the signals to define virtual sensor signals and a virtual seismic array, and forming an array response for the virtual seismic array to form a seismic trace of enhanced resolution.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2015Date of Patent: September 5, 2017Assignees: Saudi Arabian Oil Company, The Texas A&M University SystemInventors: Ibrahim Abdulaziz Alhukail, Luc Ikelle

Patent number: 9756652Abstract: A method performed by a communication network node is provided for scheduling of a User Equipment, UE, in a communication network which comprises the UE and the communication network node. The UE is arranged to communicate data on a plurality of bearers with the communication network node. In the method, one or more active bearers among the plurality of bearers are determined, the highest priority of the active bearers are determined, and a data transmission in uplink is scheduled for the UE based on the highest priority. By only taking active bearers in account when scheduling, UEs with non-active high priority bearer are prevented from performing free-riding traffic on lower prioritized bearers.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2013Date of Patent: September 5, 2017Assignee: TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L M ERICSSONInventors: Lotta Voigt, Ann-Christine Eriksson, Maria Hulström

Publication number: 20170246188Abstract: The present invention provides new compositions and methods for treating and/or reversing organophosphate intoxication, manifested by both cholinergic and non-cholinergic crisis, in a mammal resulting from exposure to organophosphate compounds. The neurosteroidal compounds of this invention are those having the general structural formula of pregnane, androstane, 19-norandrostanes, and norpregnane with further moieties as defined herein. These compounds include, but are not limited to, ganaxolone, pregnanolone, and androstanediol and their analogs, salts and prodrugs. The present invention further relates to combining a therapeutically effective amount of a neurosteroidal compound with a standard organophosphate antidote (e.g. atropine, pralidoxime). The data suggests that neurosteroids are effective or more effective than benzodiazepines, whether given earlier or later than 40-min (up to several hours) after organophosphate compound exposure.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2015Publication date: August 31, 2017Applicant: THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SYSTEMInventor: Doodipala Samba Reddy
