Patent number: 12128354Abstract: An Electrochemical Nitrogen Generator System and Method. The system and method provide the ability to create a nitrogen-rich environment in containers of a variety of sizes. The system and method are able to extract the oxygen from the air within the container without reducing the internal pressure substantially below atmospheric. A version of the method is provided to reduce the oxygen content and replace it with nitrogen through a series of sequential fractional steps. In another form, the system and method will provide a “streaming” approach of bleeding off oxygen-containing contents of the container, while continuously replacing it with air until such time as the percentage of oxygen within the container is below the desired level.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2021Date of Patent: October 29, 2024Assignee: M & R Consulting Service, Inc.Inventor: Henri Maget

Publication number: 20240355555Abstract: The present invention teaches increasing the efficiency of a dye-sensitive solar cell by increasing the surface area of the DSSC photoanode. A thin film titanium oxide is deposited in trapezoidal shaped wells etched in the DSSC substrate. The thin-film titanium oxide is anodized to produce titanium oxide nanotubes on the inner surface of the trapezoidal shaped wells to further increase the surface area and incidence of light being temporarily trapped within the wells. A sensitized dye overlays the titanium oxide nanotubes to increase quantity of light absorbed by the titanium oxide nanotubes. A photoactive layer such as Cs2O may be deposited to enhance electron current contribution. A compatible transparent metal contact layer is deposited. This layer may be followed by a high-refractive index droplet over the well to act as a convex lens waveguide for incoming light. Electrical connections are then made to the frontside and backside metal contacts.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2023Publication date: October 24, 2024Applicant: Southern University and A&M CollegeInventor: Fareed Dawan
