    Abstract: A touch panel comprising a transparent substrate and a layer of transparent conducting material on the transparent substrate, the layer of transparent conducting material being provided in a pattern comprising a plurality of electrode cells connected along a first direction and isolated from each other in the layer by gaps between the electrode cells in a second direction. A pattern of transparent insulating material is provided on the layer of transparent conducting material so as to provide bridging portions of the transparent insulating material that span across at least a subset of the gaps between the electrode cells in the second direction. The touch panel further comprises a plurality of transparent electrically conductive tracks, each comprising a plurality of at least one of nanowires, nano tubes and nanosheets. Each track is provided over a respective one of the bridging portions to electrically connect a respective two of the electrode cells.

In another aspect, the present disclosure pertains to a bifunctional catalyst having a smart anion with a cationic metal species. In some embodiments, the smart anion performs a specific role in a chemical reaction without the inclusion of additional external components to accomplish a same specific role in the chemical reaction.

    Abstract: Threshold logic gates using flash transistors are provided. In an exemplary aspect, flash threshold logic (FTL) provides a novel circuit topology for realizing complex threshold functions. FTL cells use floating gate (flash) transistors to realize all threshold functions of a given number of variables. The use of flash transistors in the FTL cell allows a fine-grained selection of weights, which is not possible in traditional complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS)-based threshold logic cells. Further examples include a novel approach for programming the weights of an FTL cell for a specified threshold function using a modified perceptron learning algorithm.

    Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a coronavirus air sanitization/isolation system with anti-virus curtain. The system may include a group of anti-virus strips with attached separation magnets coupled to an air inlet housing mounted above (e.g., in an attic ceiling) in an enclosed space. The anti-virus strips may be coated with a saline and soap solution that attracts airborne droplets contaminated with the coronavirus and dissolves a fatty layer of coronavirus cell membranes to prevent cell replication of the coronavirus, thereby destroying the coronavirus. The air inlet housing may include exhaust ventilation fans, salt filters, a wick saturated with the saline and soap solution, an electro-static air filter, and a distribution air duct. The fans may be utilized to circulate an airstream containing the coronavirus through the anti-virus strips, the filters, the saturated wick, and the distribution air duct to remove the coronavirus while protecting occupants with uncontaminated air.
