    Abstract: A system includes a first access network arranged to operate according to a first Radio Access Technology, a second access network arranged to operate according to a second Radio Access Technology, and a user device which is connectable to the first access network and to the second access network. The system also includes an authentication node arranged to identify the user device, when seeking access to the second access network, through a user device identifier for the user device, wherein the user device identifier is associated with the first access network. A query node provides information about a context of the user device in the first access network based on the user device identifier. An access selection node generates an access selection decision for the access sought by the user device to the second access network based on the provided context, and the access selection decision is then executed.

    Abstract: A method performs a Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (SRVCC) Packet Switched (PS) to Circuit Switched (CS) handover of an emergency call that is routed over an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network. The call is transferred from a first region served by a first Mobility Management Entity (MME) to a second region served by a second MME. The method includes sending a first handover request from the first MME to the second MME to transfer the call. The first handover request includes an Emergency Session Transfer Number for SRVCC (E-STN-SR) identifying an Emergency Access Transfer Function (EATF) in the first region. A second handover request for handover to a CS access is sent to a target Mobile Switching Centre, MSC, and includes the E-STN-SR. The call is handed over to the CS access using the E-STN-SR to route the call via the EATF in the first region.

The download instruction instructs the second device to download and prebuffer (3:7) data of at least an opening part of the wanted media object based on the media reference. Thereby, a user can start playout of the wanted media object on the second device immediately without having to wait for session setup and downloading of enough data for playout.

    Abstract: A system for supervision of a passive optical network includes an OTDR device, generating N+1 OTDR signals of wavelengths ?U-?N, and transmitting the signals towards ONUs. The system includes a splitter having N output branches. The splitter splits the OTDR signals and forwards them towards the ONUs. The system includes a wavelength isolator having inputs connected to the splitter output branches. The wavelength isolator isolates, on individual inputs, one predetermined wavelength of the received OTDR signals per individual input, where two inputs of the wavelength isolator do not isolate the same wavelength, and forwards, from each of the inputs of the wavelength isolator, the OTDR signals to associated outputs towards the ONUs connected to the wavelength isolator by individual fibre links.

An example method according to these techniques may be implemented in a radio transceiver, such as an LTE eNodeB, and comprises transmitting, in a first symbol time of a downlink subframe that comprises a plurality of symbol times, a codeword indicating that the downlink subframe includes at least one inactive symbol time. The method further includes transmitting data during at least one but fewer than all of the remaining ones of the plurality of symbol times in the downlink subframe. Corresponding techniques for receiving the energy-saving subframes are also disclosed.

A second session key is derived from the first session key and the second session key is sent to an access network, and the identifier sent to a user terminal.
