Abstract: The method ensures the cooling of electronic components fixed on a multilayer, with at least a metal layer interposed between insulating layers, through successive steps for the obtaining of seats or cavities or through-holes with metallized surface, the seats or cavities having the bottom formed by said metal layer and the through-holes being formed in the vicinity of the same seats; the cooling of the component is achieved by heat conduction along said metal layer, or by dissipator means located outside the multilayer and in thermal conductivity connection with said metal layer.
Abstract: Extruded elongate pasta is disclosed, each pasta strand having at least one groove formed longitudinally in the pasta strand in such a manner that the total cross sectional area of the groove is 2 to 25% of the cross sectional area of the pasta strand, and the groove in the pasta strand is substantially closed after the elongate pasta is boiled or dipped in hot water. A die structure for extruding the elongate pasta is also disclosed, the die structure being so arranged that a projection is projected toward the axis of a die hole from the inner surface of the die hole and that the coefficient of friction of the inner surface of the die hole is 0.4 or less. It is preferable that a tapered portion is formed on the upstream end of the projection. Further, an extruder for forming the elongate pastas which has a number of such die holes is also disclosed, in which projections of the die holes are projected perpendicularly to the aligning direction of the die holes.
Abstract: A power driven rotatable spindle is provided with a conical recess tapering inwardly from one end of the spindle to receive a mating conical shaft of a tool holding adapter at a coaxial operative position whereat the spindle and adapter are splined for rotation as a unit. The adapter is moved axially to and from the operative position by interengageable screw threaded portions of the adapter and collar, which latter is rotatable but not axially movable on the spindle.
Abstract: Combination use of citric or/and lactic acid with table salt in one solution is extremely effective to enhance the preservability of boiled noodle products to be commercially distributed at an ordinary temperature. Boiled noodles are subject to immersion treatment with the aqueous solution containing said combination and then, without rinsing, packaged and heat sterilized for commercial distribution. Additional use of sodium glutamate is proposed for improving palatability if desired.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a wide range frequency counter which functions as a highly accurate four range portable frequency counter. Accurate timing intervals of the frequency counter are obtained from a crystal controlled clock oscillator preferably operating at 5.24288 Mhz installed in a temperature controlled oven operating preferably at 65 degrees C. A seven figure LED digital display is used as the visual readout. The first "on" position of a range selector switch consists of a basic 5 Mhz counter which can count from less than 20 hertz to 5 Mhz. The basic counter is used with several combinations of integrated circuit (IC) prescalers to provide three other full-scale counting ranges. The frequency counter uses rechargeable batteries and has current-saving features to allow a useful operation period of six hours in the portable internally powered mode.
Abstract: A snow-surface driving vehicle characterized by being equipped with a pair of skis, left and right, along the longitudinal direction of each of which is mounted a bracket; the left and right ends of a bridging member are supported by means of these brackets; a handle supporting member is attached to the center of the bridging member and the handle supporting member is linked a little ahead of its center by means of a vertical shaft with a connecting member installed in front of the man seating portion; between the connecting member and the brackets, there are control rods mounted by means of universal joints which are attached at points offset from axes of the brackets.
Abstract: A sensor system for detecting the absence of substantially air-free blood in a blood chamber of an artificial kidney dialysis system. The system includes a first and a second radiation source and sensor means responsive to said radiation. The sensor means is aligned with and intersects the axis of the first source, and is not aligned with and does not intersect the axis of the second source. Perception of sufficient radiation from the first source indicates absence of blood in the chamber. Perception of sufficient radiation from the second source indicates foam in the blood chamber. The sensor system can control valve means, and preferably can selectively be by-passed, and automatically be adjusted for sensitivity.
