Abstract: The invention relates to a system for growing plants out of seeds on a water surface. The system has a buoyant plate with a number of passages extending between the top surface and the parallel bottom surface. The plate floats on a water surface. A container is arranged in each passage and a growing seed is arranged in each container.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for applying a hot-melt to a web of material. The device includes a driven roller and a nozzle with a nozzle channel arranged adjacent the driven roller for supplying a hot melt through the nozzle channel to the surface of the roller. The invention also relates to a combination of a device according to the invention and a web of material, which web of material is guided along the driven roller and wherein the nozzle channel exits in front of the nip of the web of material and the driven roller.

Abstract: A method for providing nestable cones to a plant tray that includes recesses. For quickly and effectively carrying this out, use is made of a device, which comprises i) a head and ii) a support surface for a stack of cones, wherein a first wall section of a first cone is engaged by the head and the remainder of the stack of cones is stopped by means of a stack stop, after which the engaged cone is released.

Abstract: A device for producing both linerless labels and lined labels includes a base frame; a hotmelt station arranged on the base frame; and a portal frame arranged on the base frame and extending over the hotmelt station. A number of guide rollers are arranged on the portal frame for guiding a web of material along a web path. The hotmelt station is rotatably arranged on the base frame around an axis parallel to the plane of the web path of the guide rollers between a first position and a reversed, second position. Both the first and second position the plane of the web path of the hotmelt station are parallel to the plane of the web path of the guide rollers on the portal frame.
