Patent number: 11606980Abstract: A vaporizer apparatus includes a pump housing, a main housing containing an evacuation chamber, and an operation unit attached to the main housing. The operation unit selectively isolates the evacuation chamber from communication with an air inlet. At least one vacuum pump is operable to generate a vacuum in the evacuation chamber, while a heating element also operates. A mouthpiece is attached to the main housing, and may be selectively placed in communication with the evacuation chamber. When oil is placed in the evacuation chamber and the operation unit is operated, the evacuation chamber is temporarily sealed off from the inlet, creating a vacuum sealed chamber connected with the pump(s). Then, the pump(s) is/are activated to reduce pressure in the evacuation chamber, and the oil is vaporized at reduced pressure and at an elevated temperature. When the operation unit is released, the evacuation chamber is emptied via the mouthpiece.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2020Date of Patent: March 21, 2023Assignee: Mabee Engineered Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Brian D. Patent number: 11517044Abstract: A vaporizer apparatus includes a pump housing, a main housing containing an evacuation chamber, and an operation unit attached to the main housing. The operation unit selectively seals the evacuation chamber off from communication with an air inlet. One or more pumps in the pump housing is/are operable to generate a vacuum in the evacuation chamber. Then, the pump(s) is/are activated to reduce pressure in the evacuation chamber, and the oil is vaporized at an ambient temperature without requiring a heater. When the operation unit is released, the evacuation chamber is emptied via the mouthpiece.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2019Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: Mabee Engineered Solutions Inc.Inventors: Brian D. Patent number: 11369130Abstract: A handheld, portable vaporizer apparatus is operable to vaporize oils, such as e-liquids, cannabis oils, or dry herbs, without heating the oils. The vaporizer apparatus includes a main housing having an oil chamber, an oil reservoir connected to the oil chamber, and an evacuation chamber connected to the oil reservoir formed therein; an operation unit; a manifold connected to the main housing; a pump; and a control unit connected to the operation unit and pump. When the operation unit is operated, the oil reservoir is isolated from the oil chamber and the bottom of the evacuation chamber is sealed thereby creating a vacuum sealed chamber having oil trapped therein and being connected with an inlet of the pump, and the control unit turns the pump on causing a pressure differential so that oil trapped in the vacuum sealed chamber vaporizes without heat and flows through the manifold and mouthpiece.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2019Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: Mabee Engineered Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Brian D. Patent number: 11054296Abstract: A kit for connecting to, and monitoring fill levels of a fluid storage tank includes a control module and primary and secondary sensor units. The control module is electronically connected to the primary sensor unit. The control module includes a circuit board with a microprocessor, memory unit, and transmitter. Each sensor unit includes a housing a seal attached to the housing around an opening thereof, attachment structure for attaching the housing to a wall of the tank, and an infrared sensor disposed in the housing proximate the opening. The primary sensor unit also includes a circuit board disposed within the housing, an ambient temperature sensor disposed in the housing, and a communications link for communicating with the control module. A method of monitoring a fluid level in a storage tank, and a system for monitoring and reporting fluid levels in a plurality of storage tanks, are also described.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2017Date of Patent: July 6, 2021Assignee: Mabee Engineered Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Brian D.
