Patents Assigned to Mac Panel Company
  • Patent number: 11269791
Abstract: A universal assembly for mass interconnect connection are shown and described. In one embodiment, an assembly includes an upper tier, a first APEX lower tier, and a second APEX lower tier. Typically, the upper tier is independent of the first and second APEX lower tiers. The upper tier may have a pair of spatially separated rails defining a vertical interconnect pull-through platform. The APEX lower tiers may have spatially separated lower rails to secure a APEX socket to mate with a corresponding APEX plug in a connected position. The result is an interconnect system and assemblies for enhancing organizational and interchangeable electrical engagement.

  • Patent number: 10938429
Abstract: A universal assembly for mass interconnect connection are shown and described. In one embodiment, an assembly includes an upper tier adapted to secure a vertical interconnect module on horizontal rails; and a lower tier having a horizontal carrier insert adapted to secure a horizontal interconnect module pulled-through said horizontal carrier insert, and a vertical module block insert adapted to secure a vertical interconnect module block. The result is an interconnect system and receiver for enhancing organizational and interchangeable electrical engagement.

  • Patent number: 9658972
Abstract: A hybrid mass interconnect system and universal pull-through receiver are shown and described. In one embodiment, a universal receiver for a mass interconnect system includes a frame, a connection assembly and a universal interconnect module. Typically, the receiver supports a variety of testing platforms, including PXI-based platforms, LXI-based platforms, AXIe-based platforms, and a combination thereof. In other examples, a variety of other platform relationships may be used. In particular examples, the universal interconnect module has an upper tier with a pair of spatially separated horizontal rails and a lower tier that is adjacent to the upper tier with at least one pair of spatially separated vertical rails. The result is an interconnect system and receiver for enhancing the organizational and interchangeable electrical engagement between a test adapter and automated testing equipment.

  • Patent number: 7016199
Abstract: A receiver designed to receive and engage an interchangeable test adapter (ITA) such that electrical contacts carried by the ITA and receiver are releasably engaged. The receiver includes sliding cam plates driven by a lever assembly and adjacent sliding hanger structures that are retractable. The sliding hanger structures are biased to extend forwardly, and are mounted within hanger slide retaining structures that define forward stops. When an ITA is to be engaged with the receiver, roller pins of the ITA are placed in the hangers such that they also extend into the adjacent sliding cam plates. When the user actuates the lever, the cam plates force the ITA to move inwardly, into engagement. The motion of the cam plates also forces the hanger structures to slide inwardly, such that they are flush with the face of the receiver.
