Patents Assigned to Machine Engineering Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 4799396
Abstract: A reduction gear in which an output shaft rotatably supports two planet gears engaging an internal gear fixed to a housing and a pinion gear at the end of the input shaft. The supports on the output shaft for the planet gears are circumferentially movable with respect to each other in order to eliminate back-lash.

  • Patent number: 4629237
Abstract: A chuck for a robot or the like of a parallel opening/closing type. A piston is slidably supported in a cylinder, slidable in a first direction. A pair of slide pawls are slidably mounted so as to be movable in a second direction, perpendicular to the first direction, for performing opening/closing movement. The pawls are biased in the opening direction. A pair of action levers are rotatably supported on the cylinder, abutting an end of the piston and engaging with respective ones of the pawls. A pair of shafts are provided on the cylinder for guiding fulcrums of the action levers and the slide pawls. Each of the pawls has a reference portion projecting upwardly, two elongated holes, and a slot portion at a center portion thereof for receiving corresponding ones of the action levers. The reference portion of one of the slide pawls, the action levers, and the reference portion of the other one of the slide pawls are supported side by side on these shafts.

  • Patent number: 4515325
Abstract: A fly reel is provided with a pivotable brake structure and a roller clutch between the brake and the spool. A clicking sound generating mechanism is provided which is operable to generate a sound when the spool is rotated in either the pay-out or winding directions. The mechanism is manually removable and reversible for silent operation or selective clicking in either direction. The roller clutch contains removable and reversible springs for converting the reel braking action between left-handed and right-handed modes of operation.

  • Patent number: 4508328
Abstract: A vice for a fishhook including a cam, a main body, a pair of jaws defining a chuck at the front ends thereof, an operating lever fixed integrally with a cam, and an adjusting screw threadedly engaged with the main body and having a forward end in abutment with the cam for adjusting the force provided by the jaws on a fishhook engaged by the vice. Each jaw has a tapered portion, and the jaws are positioned opposite one another to define a space therebetween at rear ends thereof. The cam and a portion of the main body are received in the space. The cam and operating lever are rotatable around a shaft which passes through the jaws and the cam. A spring is provided between the jaws and the main body for urging the adjusting screw into abutment with the cam. Cam surfaces formed integrally with the main body are provided for varying the distance between the abutting tapered surfaces of the chuck formed at the front end of the pair of jaws.
