Abstract: A U-shaped band to attach or snap a conduit or pipe to a slotted structural member. The U-shaped band includes a bottom portion, a first side having a first arm connected to the bottom portion; a second side having a second arm connected to the bottom portion thereby forming a U-shaped structure with the first and second sides. The at least one arm snaps into a slot of the slotted structural member when in an engaged position. The slotted structural member may be a strut or a receiver. The receiver has arms to engage and snap into curled ends or lips on sides of the strut and thus may adapt the band to the strut. Alternatively, the band may snap into suitably sized slots on the slotted structural member.

The strut receiver includes a bottom portion having a plurality of slots, a first side connected to the bottom portion and a second side connected to the bottom portion, thereby forming a U-shaped structure with the first and second sides. The plurality of first engagement springs each have an outward facing wing on the first side operable for springing attachment to a first rim on the slotted structural member. The plurality of second engagement springs each have an outward facing wing on the second side operable for springing attachment to a second rim on the slotted structural member. A band has a bottom portion, a first side having a first arm for engaging a first receiver slot and a second side having a second arm for engaging a second receiver slot.

Abstract: A nut operable for blind attachment between two rims on opposite sides of a strut channel. According to one embodiment, the nut is a spin nut operable to insert the nut into the channel, rotate and lock the nut onto the two rims on the strut. The spin nut includes a base, a pair of wings formed on one end of the base and operable to attach to two rims. The symmetrical helix is formed on the wings on the other end of the base. A shoulder extends from the symmetrical helix. A hole, such as a threaded hole is formed in the shoulder extending into the base, forming a threaded nut, according to one embodiment. A bolt may be inserted into the threaded hole to attach to a bracket, strut, plate or any suitable structure.

Abstract: A multi sectioned nut is operable to attach to a threaded fastener. The multi sectioned nut includes a plurality of multi sectioned threaded nut sections and a turn-lock formed on at least one end of the plurality of threaded nut sections. A cage is detachably coupled to the plurality of nut sections operable to spring open on a side opposite the cage to allow the threaded fastener to pass through. The turn-lock is inserted into a strut slot and rotated to removably attach to the strut slot. According to one embodiment, the multi sectioned nut may include at least two sections.
