Abstract: A self-propelled security system on an adjacent to a fence track, equipped with at least one imaging sensor and wherein the rail track on which the system's movable payload is propelled and the movable payload are both exposed to the fence side, and an anchoring means for anchoring, from time to time, the movable payload, and replacing the payload's battery with a new one within the anchoring means.

Abstract: A sensor for an intrusion detection fence of a taut wires type and a method implemented in its operation, wherein the sensor is a multi-axes accelerometer that is installed on the sensors' pole of the fence while inclined relative to the fence taut wire unto which it is connected, and the sensor is connected to fence taut wire via a movement converting means such that from an instant of loading the taut wire as happens when an intrusion attempt through it occurs, the movement converting means converts the movement of the taut wire unto a rotational movement of the sensor that is amenable to be sensed in at least two axes.

Abstract: A system and a method for detecting, locating and identifying incidents of approaching a linear installation (e.g.—buried pipe line, railway, fence etc.), that includes plurality of sensing units positions in an array along the length of the linear installation, at a distance one from each other, wherein each unit includes at least one sensor for sensing seismic or acoustic interference or noise/s (in accordance with the configuration of the system, namely either as buried system or as an above the ground one), and the issuance of a suiting indicating signal; a signal processor for analyzing the signal and comparing it to a cache (data bank) of seismic or acoustic interference or noise signatures that is embedded in the sensor unit; and a communications device for transferring data from the sensor unit to a distant command and control center.
Abstract: An intrusion detection fence and system is provided. In one embodiment, the fence includes a plurality of trip wires secured between a pair of anchor posts, a plurality of detector posts anchored in the ground, located between the anchor posts, at least one actuator attached to each of the detector posts, the actuator also being coupled to each of the plurality of trip wires; and a detecting device attached to the actuator and secured to each of the detector posts. The deflection or cutting of any of the plurality of trip wires activates at least one of the detecting devices adjacent to the activated trip wires.
Abstract: A sensing cable element including a non-uniform cable which is configured so as to substantially vary along its length in its ability to detect mechanical disturbances.
Abstract: An intrusion detection barrier, comprises a coiled wire fence deployable over the ground or over another fence, a sensor wire tensioned between a pair of wire-supporting posts anchored in the ground, an intrusion detector connected to the sensor wire to sense any change in tension thereof, and coupling members coupling the sensor wire to spaced points of the coiled wire fence. Each of the coupling members permits free movement of the sensor wire with respect to the coiled wire fence in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the sensor wire, but restrains movement of the sensor wire with respect to the coiled wire fence in the direction transversely to the longitudinal axis of the sensor wire.
