Abstract: The invention relates to a shuttle for a weaving machine, of which the shuttle is designed to be alternately transferred from one side of a weave to the other while machine-side guiding elements are constantly intervening, with a left-hand connecting element and a right-hand connecting element for connecting the shuttle to the corresponding transfer element and to a filling (weft) bobbin. The filling bobbin is embodied to be rotationally positively drivable, with a drive that is designed for at least two impingements upon the filling bobbin, namely for either accelerating or for decelerating the dispensing of filling (weft) thread. The invention further relates to a weaving process in which such a shuttle is used.

Abstract: Steamer for treating, dyeing, washing, etc. at least one running band of narrow fabric, tape or the like, and including at least one pair of rollers consisting of an upper deflection roller and a lower deflection roller around which the band is guided criss-cross in a figure of eight, with the rollers rotating in opposite directions.
Abstract: A thread clamping device, particularly for the figuring weft threads on jacquard machines, in which figuring weft threads, e.g. those on jacquard looms, are only picked from time to time corresponding to the figured form of the woven jacquard fabric, with the figuring weft threads being held under tension and released as required, during their stationary period, by thread clamping devices which are controlled via the harness thread of the associated figuring weft cord heald.
