  • Patent number: 8496149
Abstract: A hunting blind assembly having a frame adapted for shoulder supported carriage; a collapsible hunting blind; a durable flexible sheet fitted for, upon movement of the hunting blind to its collapsed configuration and upon placement of the hunting blind in contact with the frame's back side, and between the frame's left and right ends, arcuately covering the hunting blind; and left and right pluralities of ties interconnecting the frame with the durable flexible sheet, the left and right pluralities of ties, in combination with the frame and the durable flexible sheet, encapsulating the hunting blind.

  • Patent number: 8113974
Abstract: A hunting arrow point having a ferrule having a forward nose, a rearward shank, and a body, the body having a plurality of radially outwardly opening apertures; the point further having blades, each blade having a proximal end, a distal end, a forward end, and a rearward end, each proximal end having an eye, each blade's forward end having a sharpened edge, each blade being positioned so that its eye aligns over one of the ferrule's apertures; the point receiving screws, each screw extending through one of the blade's eyes and engaging one of the ferrule's apertures; and the point presenting a plurality of pivot stops, each pivot stop being fixedly attached to or formed wholly with the ferrule, each pivot stop being positioned for biasing against one of the blades upon application of a rearwardly directed force to the blade, and each blade being forwardly canted.

  • Patent number: 7604288
Abstract: A pack frame convertible between a pack support and a chair is disclosed, and includes a primary element having opposite first and second ends and a secondary element pivotably mounted on the primary element with respect to the primary element. The primary and secondary elements are movable between a pack configuration and a chair configuration, with the pack configuration being characterized by the primary and secondary elements being oriented substantially parallel to each other and the chair configuration being characterized by the primary and secondary elements being in a skewed orientation with respect to each other. The pack frame includes a securing band for securing the primary element to the body of a user when the primary and secondary elements are in the pack configuration, and a seat for extending between the primary element and the secondary element when the primary and secondary elements are in the chair configuration.

  • Patent number: 7597637
Abstract: A broadhead assembly includes a substantially planar metal blade that defines a plane of symmetry relative to the blade. The blade includes first and second sharp edges which are symmetric relative to the plane of symmetry. The first and second sharp edges nearing each other and defining a tip area therebetween and defining a cutting bevel of between 17 and 30 degrees. The tip area is characterized by third and fourth sharp edges which are symmetric relative to the plane of symmetry. The third edge is adjacent to the first edge at a first inflection point and adjacent to the fourth edge at the tip area. The fourth edge is adjacent to the third edge at the tip area and the second edge at a second inflection point, wherein the angle formed between the first inflection point, the tip area, and the second inflection point is between 40 and 65 degrees.
