Patent number: 6987233Abstract: A push-button actuatable electrical switch is disclosed. In one embodiment, the push-button electrical switch includes a body, a push-button lens cap extending from a first end of the body, and an electrical switch. Depression of the push-button lens cap causes the electrical switch to be activated. An electrically conductive pathway is defined through the body to a support structure whereby electrical discharges are routed to ground rather than through the lamp and electrical switch. In one embodiment, the pathway is defined by conductive carbon particles dispersed through a plastic forming parts of the switch, such as the body and the lens cap.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2003Date of Patent: January 17, 2006Assignee: Magtech USA, Inc.Inventors: Joseph W. Patent number: 4889526Abstract: This invention incorporates the discovery of new principles which utilize magnetic and electric fields generated by time varying square wave currents of precise repetition, width, shape and magnitude to move through coils and cutaneously applied conductive electrodes in order to stimulate the nervous system and reduce pain in humans. Timer means, adjustment means, and means to deliver current to the coils and conductive electrodes are described, as well as a theoretical model of the process. The invention incorporates the concept of two cyclic expanding an collapsing magnetic fields which generate precise wave forms in conjunction with each other to create a beat frequency which in turn causes the ion flow in the nervous system of the human body to be efficiency moved along the nerve path where the locus of the pain exists to thereby reduce the pain. The wave forms are create either in one or more coils, one or more pairs of electrodes, or a combination of the two.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 1987Date of Patent: December 26, 1989Assignee: Magtech Laboratories, Inc.Inventors: Elizabeth A. Patent number: 3936884Abstract: A magnetic tape head includes a pair of core holders containing the core elements of magnetic cores. The tips of the magnetic cores are urged towards each other when the core holders are clamped in abutting relation by a metallic U-shaped clip. The bight portion of the clip engages the tips of the magnetic cores and engages the inner surface of the metallic housing in which the core holders are positioned to ground the tips of the cores. The legs of the clip are urged inwardly with a scissors action by engagement with the inner surfaces of the housing to further exert a clamping action on the core holders and to thereby urge the tips of the core elements towards each other so that the flux gap is maintained.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 1974Date of Patent: February 3, 1976Assignee: MagTech Industries, Inc.Inventor: John W.
