Thus, for example, a wrist band may be formed from an elastic material and be stitched to form pockets. In one embodiment, the pockets are closed, and the band is provided with a given amount of protection or support. In yet another embodiment, one or more pockets have an opening, which allows a user to adjust the amount of protection and/or support in each pocket.
