  • Patent number: 10288210
Abstract: A thermally insulated pipe for transporting fluids, being connectable to at least one further pipe, is disclosed herein. The pipe comprises an outer pipe wall and an inner pipe wall substantially parallel to the outer pipe wall and configured to contain a fluid within the pipe. The inner pipe wall comprises a body portion and a connection portion extending therefrom, a thermal insulation layer provided between the outer pipe wall and the body portion of the inner pipe wall, and at least one male joinable end. The male joinable end comprises the connection portion of the inner pipe wall which terminates in a connection component adapted to engage a connection component of a further pipe, and a transition region where the outer pipe wall tapers continuously inwardly to meet the connection portion of the inner pipe wall.

  • Patent number: 10172433
Abstract: A lipstick cup for securing a lipstick cylinder or bullet, suitable for a soft lipstick formula, having a cylindrical body with a base and a sidewall having axially-arranged ribs distributed substantially evenly around the inner circumference of the sidewall near the base, that extending radially inwardly from the sidewall, and a plurality of shallow undercut structures distributed substantially evenly around the circumference of the sidewall, disposed circumferentially between the pairs of adjacent ribs, and tapering inwardly from the inner surface of the sidewall toward the base to provide an undersurface. The plurality of ribs displace and compress a portion of the material of the lipstick composition circumferentially toward and between the undersurface of the shallow undercut structures, and the base, for preventing the product from being dislodged from the cup.

  • Patent number: 10159324
Abstract: A sealable container for a volatile composition for use in a compact case, having a container having an upper rim and outer thread segments, a seal cover having an annular wall having inner thread segments, and an annular seal disposed between the upper rim of the container and a cover plate of the seal cover. The annular seal has an upper seal member having an upper surface, and a lower seal member that registers with the upper seal member and engages the upper rim of the container when the seal covers the container. The upper seal member includes a means for preventing the rotative force applied to the upper surface of the upper seal member when rotating the seal cover to the second rotated position, to be downward onto the lower seal member, to prevent tearing, bunching and deforming of the lower seal member.

  • Patent number: 9829138
Abstract: A segment is fitted by screw-fastening for implementing a fluid transport pipe for transporting a fluid, the pipe including an inner wall and an outer wall, the segment including an inner tube and an outer tube that define an annular space between them. The segment includes in particular one heating duct placed in its annular space and opening out at either end of its annular space, the annular space being designed to be closed hermetically in order to enable it to be brought to a reduced pressure. A method of manufacturing the segment and a method of implementing the fluid transport pipe is described.

  • Patent number: 8327530
Abstract: An installation (1) for continuous application of thermally or electrically insulating material (6) around an elongate element (2) having a generally circular cross-section. The installation includes a forcing device (3), in form of a conical tube into which the element (2) is fed simultaneously at the large base end of the conical tube, a sheet (4), on which the insulating material (6) is placed, means for translation of the element through a circular section (2) of the sheet (4), and a device (7) for depositing of insulating material onto the sheet. Such an installation produces thermally insulated tubes or electrically insulated cables.

  • Patent number: 7621333
Abstract: A hydrocarbon extraction process enabling an acceleration in the production of the productive zone of the oil deposit of a well and an increase in the cumulated quantity of hydrocarbons, characterized by the fact that a hot fluid constituted of hydrocarbons is made to circulate so as to bring the productive zone locally to a higher temperature by conduction in order to fluidify the hydrocarbons imprisoned in an underground reservoir, by means of a thermally-insulated pipe, the hot fluid being mixed with the hydrocarbons extracted via a liner or drain in the productive zone such mixture thus formed being recovered at the surface by means of an pumping pipe.
