Patents Assigned to Majus
  • Patent number: 9829138
Abstract: A segment is fitted by screw-fastening for implementing a fluid transport pipe for transporting a fluid, the pipe including an inner wall and an outer wall, the segment including an inner tube and an outer tube that define an annular space between them. The segment includes in particular one heating duct placed in its annular space and opening out at either end of its annular space, the annular space being designed to be closed hermetically in order to enable it to be brought to a reduced pressure. A method of manufacturing the segment and a method of implementing the fluid transport pipe is described.

  • Patent number: 8327530
Abstract: An installation (1) for continuous application of thermally or electrically insulating material (6) around an elongate element (2) having a generally circular cross-section. The installation includes a forcing device (3), in form of a conical tube into which the element (2) is fed simultaneously at the large base end of the conical tube, a sheet (4), on which the insulating material (6) is placed, means for translation of the element through a circular section (2) of the sheet (4), and a device (7) for depositing of insulating material onto the sheet. Such an installation produces thermally insulated tubes or electrically insulated cables.

  • Patent number: 8061739
Abstract: A thermal insulation device of a screwed junction between two sections of pipe comprising an outer pipe surrounding an inner pipe between which thermal insulation material is positioned, the inner pipes being assembled together by the screwed junction, one section delimiting a male portion and the other delimiting a female portion, the portions being fitted together to delimit the screwed junction, wherein the male portion comprises the inner pipe and a tubular part connected thereto, the diameter of the tubular part being less than that of the outer pipe, and wherein the female portion comprises a part of the outer pipe and an intermediate tubular part connecting the inner pipe to the outer pipe, the inner diameter of the intermediate part being greater than the outer diameter of the tubular part of the male portion, the thermally insulating material being inserted between the outer pipe and the intermediate part.

  • Patent number: 7621333
Abstract: A hydrocarbon extraction process enabling an acceleration in the production of the productive zone of the oil deposit of a well and an increase in the cumulated quantity of hydrocarbons, characterized by the fact that a hot fluid constituted of hydrocarbons is made to circulate so as to bring the productive zone locally to a higher temperature by conduction in order to fluidify the hydrocarbons imprisoned in an underground reservoir, by means of a thermally-insulated pipe, the hot fluid being mixed with the hydrocarbons extracted via a liner or drain in the productive zone such mixture thus formed being recovered at the surface by means of an pumping pipe.
