Abstract: Examples of distributed workload management are disclosed. In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a partial data table is received from a main data table. A data view is generated in real time in response to a received data view request. The data view is based at least in part on a plurality of data view configuration properties and the partial data stored in the received partial data table. The partial data table stores data that represents at least a partial copy of main data stored in a main data table. The partial data table and the main data table are then synchronized.
Abstract: The invention relates to both a method and a computer system that are designed to provide a bid positioning system using a computerized bid proxy. The bid proxy takes instructions from the bidder and then bids based upon these instructions. Using a bid positioning system allows this bidder to place its bids in relation to a lead bid placed by another bidder in an auction based upon either a nominal or percentage distance from the lead bid. In a preferred embodiment, this computerized bid proxy is used in a shipment management system. This system allows a shipper to present at least one shipping requirement for a particular shipment to a centralized server. These shipping requirements could include the origin and destination of a shipment, the time or delivery date of a shipment, the number of articles being shipped, and the weight or volume of the shipment.

Abstract: A method and system which tracks productivity including summarization of “tasks performed” for productivity analysis. The tracking capabilities of the system uses a positioning system and includes a complete reconstruction (graphically if desired by overlaying the positional movements on a 2 or 3 dimensional map of the location) of a series of movements over a period of time. The system gathers the exact time and position information of an employee over a period of each work day and the task being worked on at any given moment of time. This data can be analyzed to determine, for example, non-productive movements, and provide a better foundation of information for productivity payroll including the relative “difficulty” of a task.
