Abstract: A clamp of a thermally weldable material for a pipe of a thermally weldable material has two segments surrounding the pipe in a position of use of the clamp. The segments have heating mats of heatable electrical conduits integrated into inner surfaces of the segments. Each segment has two border edges facing one another in the position of use and clamped to one another by fastening elements. A first border edge of each segment has at least one segment flap projecting past the first border edge, and the second border edge has at least one pocket recessed relative to the second border edge. Segment flaps and pockets are complementary to the segment flaps and pockets of the opposed segment in the position of use. The heating mats have projecting flaps integrated into the area of the segment flaps and gaps in the area of the pockets.

Abstract: A thermoweldable clip for a weldable conduit has two shells surrounding the conduit when in use. The shells have facing longitudinal flanges and are connected to one another under pressure. The shells have electrically heatable conductors arranged in continuous windings at inner shell surfaces. The windings extend in a semi-circular zone at the inner surfaces in two end areas of the shell and also between these two semi-circular zones in a planar strip. The shape and the arrangement of the conductors are identical. The shells are positioned so as to face one another. The strip is arranged only at the inner surface of one of the longitudinal flanges. Electrical terminals are formed integrally on the outer shell sides. The conductors project from the contact surface of the semi-circular zones or the strip on the longitudinal flange. A positive locking connection is provided between the conductors and the shell material.

Abstract: A process for producing a pipe fitting of thermally weldable material for attachment to or repair of conduits of thermally weldable material. The first injection mold has channels formed as windings and having channel walls. A heating wire is formed to a wavy heating strand which is laid into the first injection mold between the channel walls. A first welding material is introduced into the channels so that a first broad side of the wavy shape of the heating strand is pressed against a first mold surface of the injection mold and an intermediate product with embedded wavy heating strand is formed. The outside surface is formed by the first mold surface against which the heating strand is pressed and provides the contact surface with the conduit in the end product. The first broad side of the wavy shape of the heating strand remains visible at the outer surface of the intermediate product.

Abstract: A device is disclosed for welding an accessory of thermoplastic material to a pipe or to two pipes of thermoplastic material to be connected to one another. The accessory has at least two segments embracing the circumference of the pipe or pipes. The segments have electrical heating elements at least over portions of their inner surfaces contacting the pipe or pipes. The segments are connected to a welding device via two electrical connecting lines. The two connecting lines form with two connector lines a line combination for a parallel electrical switching of all heating elements. The segments have at their outer surfaces two electrical coupling members for supplying and carrying away an electrical current through the line combination. Counter coupling members of the line combination are contacted with the coupling members of different segments, wherein the coupling members and the counter coupling members are different from each other and are not compatible with each other.

Abstract: In a pipe clamp for tapping and closing off plastic supply pipelines, the clamp upper shell is constructed from plastic and provided with a one-piece pipe socket. The clamp upper shell can be welded to the desired position of the supply pipeline. In the pipe socket, a coaxial, tubular metal insert, with an internal thread accessible from the interior of the pipe, is provided. To facilitate the handling of the pipe clamp and to strengthen its plastic, it is proposed that the metal insert, although it is constructed in one piece, be organized in two axial sections, different in shape and action. Of these, only the lower axial section is anchored in the pipe socket, while the upper axial section protrudes freely out of the upper front end of the pipe socket and makes the inner thread conveniently available for connecting eligible functional parts.
