Abstract: An apparatus for detecting cervical cancer comprising, a mechanical structure configured to expose cervical region comprising, a first duck-billed blade forming a hollow cylinder at one end and a second duck-billed blade coupled to the first blade to form part of a speculum, in that the cervical region is exposed through circular area of the hollow cylinder, a pair of āLā shaped rods attached to the hollow cylinder of the first blade such that they are diagonally opposite and symmetric on either side of the exposed cervical region, and a detachable holder with a housing to hold a secondary unit and at least a pair of hooks to mount on the āLā shaped rods, the secondary unit further comprising, a camera for capturing an image of the exposed cervical region, a processor and a visual indicator to determine and indicate presence or absence of the cervix cancer from the image.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure set forth a method for optimizing a multimedia service in a mobile network including a server and a client. The method includes: collecting QoS related information of a channel in the mobile network; collecting or retrieving at least one parameter associated with a usage preference of the mobile network or the client; determining a QMS metric based on the QoS related information and the at least one parameter for the channel periodically; notifying the server a first QMS metric when the difference between a second QMS metric and the first QMS metric exceeds a threshold, wherein the first QMS metric is obtained immediately succeeding the second QMS metric; and receiving a multimedia content in a manner that is determined based on the first QMS metric.
Abstract: Technologies are generally described for a marking gauge. In some examples, the marking gauge includes a scribing bar and a marking pin disposed at a fixed location in the scribing bar. A bolt may extend through a stock and the scribing bar. A nut may be in contact with the scribing bar and engaged with the bolt. The nut and the bolt may be effective to fasten the stock to the scribing bar. The scribing bar may include walls defining a longitudinally extending slot and the mortise pin may extend through the longitudinally extending slot. A pointed end of the mortise pin and of the marking pin may be adjustable with respect to the scribing bar.
