Abstract: A backhoe elevator includes a front, loading arm supported on a frame forward of a driver cab midway between front and rear axles. The frame includes two spaced apart elongated members that define a space for retraction of the arm between the members. The controls for the loading arm are disposed along a central axis of the backhoe elevator. The engine is transversely mounted and includes two outputs, one for a hydraulic pump and one for a gear box that is below the support for the loading arm between the frame members. The support for the loading arm may include two parallel plates, one of which is a vertical extension of one of the elongated members and the other of which is mounted on an upper plate that is between and perpendicular to the elongated members. One of the elongated members may have a rear portion that is curved outwardly so that it is not parallel to the other of the elongated members.
Abstract: A device for securing a goods handling carriage (1) on a truck, comprises a support chassis (11) provided with first anchoring and securing structure (14a, 15a) to secure the chassis (11) on the bed (3) of the truck, and second anchoring and securing structure (14b, 15b) to secure the chassis (11) below the truck bed (3).
Abstract: A motorized lift truck, with a telescopic arm (9), comprising a chassis (1) mounted on a plurality of wheels of which at least one (7) is power driven. The chassis (1) carries a motor propulsion group (3), a cab (2) and lifting structure (4) disposed between the motor propulsion group (3) and the cab (2). The lifting structure (4) is the telescopic arm (9) mounted pivotably about a substantially horizontal axle (10). The assembly of the lifting structure (4) comprising the telescopic arm (9) is displaceable transversely, so as to permit precise adjustment over a predetermined distance (d) of the position of the lifting structure (4) so as to engage the load. The truck is adapted to be loaded up on the rear of a carrying vehicle and comprises a chassis (1) having a U shape.
Abstract: A lift truck 1 with a telescopic arm 3 comprises a front axle 6 and a rear axle 7 and a mechanical transmission to transmit the movement of the drive train 5 to the forward 6 and/or rear 7 axle or axles. The drive train 5 is oriented transversely to the truck 1 and the mechanical transmission is located in a central position. This arrangement permits easy access to the drive train and rapid exchange of the latter, so as to facilitate the maintenance and reduce the down time of the lift truck.
Abstract: The invention concerns a lift truck with telescopic hoisting arm (2) mounted on a chassis carrying a front axle and a rear axle, in which the telescopic arm is articulated on the truck by means of a variable quadrilateral (A, B, C, D) having a tie rod (23) and an auxiliary arm (24), characterized in that:the tie rod (23) is articulated on the one hand to the chassis (1) at a point (D) situated substantially above the front axle (10) and on the other hand to the telescopic arm (2) at a point (A) which, in low position of the arm, is substantially above the rear axle (11),the auxiliary arm (24) is articulated on the one hand to the chassis (1) of the truck substantially at the geometric center (C) of the chassis and on the other hand to the telescopic arm (2) at a point (B) situated in back of point (A),and in that, in low position, the telescopic arm (2) is entirely situated below points (A) and (B) of the quadrilateral and rests on the auxiliary arm (24) in a practially horizontal position whereas in high pos
