Abstract: A unit for regulating or controlling a fluid pressure of a fluid has a housing with at least one housing part and an inlet and an outlet for the fluid. A switching film is connected to the housing part and switches at pressure differences of 1 to 250 mbar relative to an ambient pressure acting on the switching film. The switching film regulates, releases or blocks a flow of the fluid between the inlet and the outlet for the fluid. The switching film is made of thermoplastic synthetic material. An opening cross section of the housing part is closed off by the switching film. In a method for fluid-tightly connecting a switching film to a housing part of the unit, a radial outwardly positioned joining region of the switching film is fluid-tightly pressed against the housing part in the region of joining surface.

Abstract: A whole blood hollow fiber membrane filter medium is provided with a ceramic material having pores of a pore size that ensures permeability to blood plasma or serum and its molecular components while blood cells are retained. The whole blood hollow fiber membrane filter medium is used for separating blood plasma from whole blood, wherein the blood plasma preferably shows no hemolysis.

Abstract: A filter module for filtering a fluid is provided with a filter element that has a filter bellows of a filter medium. A fastening frame is connected to the filter element and has a frame wall enclosing circumferentially at least partially a rim of the filter element. A circumferentially extending first sealing element is arranged on an exterior side of the frame wall. The fastening frame has at least one locking element on an exterior side. A second sealing element seals the raw side and the clean side relative to each other, and can be guided into a sealing position upon locking at least one locking element in the installation position.

Abstract: A coalescing element for a water separator device for fuel is provided with at least one coalescing medium that separates water contained in the fuel from the fuel. The coalescing element is arranged in a housing of the water separator device such that the coalescing element separates at least one fuel inlet of the housing from at least one fuel outlet of the housing. The at least one coalescing medium is arranged in a flow path of the fuel from the at least one fuel inlet to the at least one fuel outlet. The at least one coalescing medium contains at least one sponge-like coalescing material suitable for coalescing water. The coalescing element is used in fuel filters such as diesel fuel filters of an internal combustion engine.

In this arrangement, a flow direction (32) of the media flow is directed through the filter element (30) in the specified installed state against the force of gravity. The filter element (30) has an absorptive and/or adsorptive material (34) for picking up at least a portion of the second medium in the first medium. Abstract: A fluid housing of a fluid treatment system of a fluid system has a housing part of plastic material that is provided with a receiving chamber for accommodating a fluid treatment component; an installation opening, closable by a closure housing part, for installing the fluid treatment component in the receiving chamber; and a housing connecting section to connect the housing part to the closure housing part. A housing fastening section is provided with which the fluid housing can be fastened to a holding component of the fluid system. An insert is at least partially introduced into the plastic material of the housing part. The insert is provided with a reinforcement region extending with sections thereof in the housing connecting section and is further provided with fastening region extending with sections thereof in the housing fastening section. A fluid treatment system with such a fluid housing is provided.

Abstract: A separating device for separating an undesired fluid from a multi-component liquid has a region flowed through by the multi-component liquid and at least one membrane disposed in the region to separate a first fluid region from a second fluid region. The membrane has a first permeability to the undesired fluid and a second permeability to the multi-component liquid. The first permeability is different from the second permeability. The membrane is equally permeable to all components of the multi-component liquid. The membrane is permeable to the multi-component liquid and impermeable to the undesired fluid, or the membrane is impermeable to the multi-component liquid and is permeable to the undesired fluid, wherein the multi-component liquid is a liquid multi-component operating medium. A filter with such a separating device and a filter element, in particular for diesel fuel, as well as a liquid system with such a separating device are described.

Abstract: An air filter housing for intake air of an internal combustion engine has a housing pot having a housing wall and a receiving opening. The receiving opening is delimited circumferentially by a free rim section of the housing wall. Through the receiving opening, an air filter element with circumferential radial sealing element is insertable into the housing pot and a housing cover closes off the housing pot. The radial sealing element, when the air filter element is inserted into the housing pot, projects radially outwardly past the free rim section and seals housing cover and housing pot relative to each other. The housing pot is provided externally with a stop that limits axial deformation of the radial sealing element relative to the free rim section of the housing wall when the housing cover is placed onto the housing pot.

Abstract: An intake manifold of an internal combustion engine includes a non-metal housing and at least one charge air cooler. The non-metal housing has at least one inlet and at least one outlet for charge air. The at least one charge air cooler disposed in the housing between the at least one inlet and at least one outlet. A metal housing frame is carried by the at least one charge air cooler. A metal adapter holding plate is secured to the metal housing frame and holds at least one non-metal mounting adapter to the at least one charge air cooler. The at least one non-metal mounting adapter may be secured to a top interior side wall and a bottom interior side wall the non-metal housing. The metal adapter holding plate is elongated in a direction extending from the inlet to the outlet and has a U-shape profile.

The water outlet opening of the filter element is fluidically connected with the water collecting chamber of the filter housing.

A method for manufacturing the seal is also disclosed.
